Target roles requiring specialized financial expertise
Beyond Finance's Green Card filings concentrate in professional and analytical functions. When applying, emphasize credentials in financial consulting, data analysis, or operations management, these align with the specialty occupation profiles most likely to support an EB-2 or EB-3 petition.
Understand how PERM shapes your timeline
Most Beyond Finance Green Card cases will go through PERM labor certification, where DOL verifies no qualified U.S. worker was available. Start this process early, PERM alone can take a year or more before USCIS even receives your I-140 petition.
Clarify which EB category your role qualifies for
EB-2 requires a job needing an advanced degree; EB-3 covers roles requiring a standard bachelor's degree. For consulting and professional services positions, your specific job duties and educational requirements determine the category, confirm this with Beyond Finance's immigration counsel before the PERM is filed.
Benchmark your salary against prevailing wage requirements
PERM requires Beyond Finance to pay at least the DOL prevailing wage for your role and location. Before negotiating compensation, check the OFLC Wage Search for your job title and metro area to confirm your offered salary meets or exceeds the threshold that will appear on your labor certification.
Use Migrate Mate to verify Beyond Finance's sponsorship history
Before investing time in the application process, use Migrate Mate to review Beyond Finance's LCA and Green Card filing history by role and location. Seeing which job titles have been sponsored helps you position your application in the functions where sponsorship has actually happened.
Document performance early to support internal sponsorship requests
Green Card sponsorship at consulting and professional services firms is typically employer-initiated. Build a documented record of performance reviews, project outcomes, and role-specific achievements before raising sponsorship with your manager, concrete contributions make the internal business case for filing significantly stronger.
Beyond Finance Green Card Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Beyond Finance sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, Beyond Finance does sponsor Green Card visas for eligible employees in qualifying professional and technical roles. Sponsorship is not automatic and is typically initiated by the employer after a period of employment. Roles in financial consulting, analytics, and operations are among those most likely to be considered for permanent residency support.
Which roles at Beyond Finance are most likely to receive Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship at Beyond Finance tends to align with specialized professional functions, including financial consulting, data and analytics, and technology operations. Roles that require a specific advanced degree or specialized expertise are more likely to qualify for EB-2 classification, while positions requiring a bachelor's degree typically fall under EB-3.
How does the Green Card process work at Beyond Finance?
For most employees, the process begins with PERM labor certification, where DOL verifies the role couldn't be filled by a qualified U.S. worker. Beyond Finance then files an I-140 immigrant petition with USCIS. If your priority date is current, you can proceed to adjustment of status or consular processing to receive your Green Card.
How long does it take to get a Green Card through Beyond Finance?
Timelines vary significantly based on your country of birth and the EB category you qualify for. PERM labor certification alone takes many months, and USCIS I-140 processing adds additional time. Applicants born in countries with high demand for employment-based visas may face longer waits due to per-country annual limits. Use Migrate Mate to check current filing patterns before planning your timeline.
How do I raise Green Card sponsorship with Beyond Finance?
Green Card sponsorship is typically an employer-driven decision at consulting and professional services firms. Build your case internally by documenting your contributions, confirming your current visa timeline, and understanding whether your role meets specialty occupation or advanced degree standards. Raise the conversation with your manager or HR contact before your work authorization renewal window closes.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at Beyond Finance?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
