Job Roles at Chobani
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Chobani Green Card Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target roles with long-term hiring needs
Chobani's Green Card sponsorships tend to concentrate in technical and operational roles where specialized expertise is hard to replace. Food scientists, engineers, and supply chain professionals are strong fits for sponsored permanent residence pathways at the company.
Understand the PERM labor certification process
Green Card sponsorship at Chobani starts with PERM, where the company must advertise the role and demonstrate no qualified U.S. workers are available. This process takes time, so expect a multi-year timeline from your first day to receiving permanent residence.
Raise Green Card intentions early and professionally
Bring up long-term sponsorship intentions during the offer negotiation stage, not after you've started. Companies like Chobani that operate established immigration programs are generally receptive when candidates approach this conversation with clarity and professionalism.
Use verified sponsorship data to find open roles
Not every Chobani role will come with Green Card sponsorship. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and identify which positions at Chobani are realistically open to international candidates seeking permanent residence.
Align your background with Chobani's core business
Chobani's Food & Beverage focus means candidates with experience in food manufacturing, quality assurance, R&D, or supply chain operations are more likely to secure sponsorship. Demonstrating direct industry relevance strengthens your case during both hiring and the PERM advertising stage.
Ask specifically about EB-2 versus EB-3 preference categories
Chobani may file under EB-2 for advanced degree professionals or EB-3 for skilled workers, depending on the role. Clarifying which category applies to your position matters because priority date backlogs differ significantly between categories and can affect your wait time considerably.

Does Chobani sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, Chobani sponsors Green Card visas for eligible employees in skilled roles. The company has an active immigration program supporting workers in technical, scientific, and operational functions. Sponsorship is typically tied to specific positions rather than offered universally, so confirming sponsorship eligibility during the hiring process is important.
Which roles and departments at Chobani typically receive Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship at Chobani is most common in roles requiring specialized expertise, including food science, quality assurance, engineering, manufacturing operations, and corporate functions such as finance and technology. Positions where Chobani has difficulty sourcing qualified U.S. candidates are the strongest candidates for PERM-based sponsorship.
How does the Green Card application process work at Chobani?
Chobani typically sponsors Green Cards through the PERM labor certification route under EB-2 or EB-3 preference categories. The employer files a PERM application with the Department of Labor, followed by an I-140 immigrant petition with USCIS. Once the priority date becomes current, the employee can apply for adjustment of status or consular processing.
How long does Green Card sponsorship take at Chobani?
The timeline varies significantly depending on your nationality and the EB category your role falls under. PERM certification alone can take a year or more, and applicants from countries with high demand, such as India, may face priority date backlogs that extend the overall process by several years. Starting the conversation early in your employment is strongly advised.
How do I find Green Card jobs at Chobani that include visa sponsorship?
The best approach is to search for Chobani roles on platforms that show verified sponsorship history rather than relying solely on job descriptions, which often omit immigration details. Migrate Mate lets you filter specifically for Green Card sponsors in the Food & Beverage industry, making it easier to identify genuine opportunities at companies like Chobani before you apply.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at Chobani?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
