Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding CLEAR Green Card Jobs
Target technical and product roles
CLEAR's Green Card sponsorship is concentrated in technology and software functions. Software engineers, product managers, and technical operations specialists are the most common beneficiaries, so positioning yourself in those tracks improves your chances significantly.
Get on the OPT or TN pathway first
CLEAR sponsors F-1 OPT and TN visas, which are common entry points before Green Card sponsorship. Starting on one of these status types lets you demonstrate value internally before initiating the longer permanent residence process.
Understand the EB-2 versus EB-3 distinction
CLEAR files under both EB-2 and EB-3. EB-2 typically applies to advanced degree holders in specialty roles, while EB-3 covers skilled workers. Knowing which category fits your background helps you frame your qualifications correctly during the hiring process.
Ask about sponsorship intent early in the process
CLEAR sponsors selectively, so clarifying Green Card intent during later-stage interviews rather than upfront avoids early friction. Once you have an offer, ask the recruiter directly which roles have an established sponsorship pathway and confirm PERM support.
Search for verified sponsorship history before applying
Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, saving time on companies that claim sponsorship but rarely follow through. Use it to confirm CLEAR is actively hiring for roles with Green Card support before investing in the application.
Build tenure before initiating the Green Card process
CLEAR's Green Card filings reflect sponsorship for established employees, not new hires. Demonstrating consistent performance in a technical or operations role over time positions you as a candidate the company is willing to invest the PERM process in.
CLEAR Green Card Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does CLEAR sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, CLEAR sponsors Green Card visas. The company files under the EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant visa categories, primarily for roles in technology and software functions. Sponsorship is selective rather than automatic, so candidates typically need to establish themselves in a qualifying role before the permanent residence process begins.
Which roles and departments at CLEAR are most likely to receive Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship at CLEAR is most common in technology and software departments, including software engineering, product management, and technical operations. Roles requiring specialized skills or advanced degrees tend to align with the EB-2 pathway, while skilled professional positions may qualify under EB-3. Corporate and administrative roles are less commonly sponsored.
How does the Green Card application process work at CLEAR?
CLEAR's Green Card process follows the standard employer-sponsored pathway: the company conducts PERM labor certification with the Department of Labor, then files an I-140 immigrant petition with USCIS. Once the priority date becomes current, you file for adjustment of status or consular processing. CLEAR's immigration counsel manages the employer-side filings, but you are responsible for your own documentation.
How long does Green Card sponsorship take at CLEAR?
The timeline depends on your visa category and country of birth. EB-2 and EB-3 cases for most nationalities move within a few years, but applicants born in India or China often face multi-year backlogs due to per-country visa limits. PERM certification alone can take six months to over a year, so starting the conversation with your manager early is important.
How do I improve my chances of getting Green Card sponsorship at CLEAR?
Focus on securing a role in CLEAR's technology or software teams, where sponsorship is more established. Once hired on an eligible work visa such as OPT or TN visa, build a clear performance record before raising Green Card sponsorship. Migrate Mate can help you identify open roles at CLEAR that align with verified sponsorship pathways, so you apply where sponsorship is realistic from the start.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at CLEAR?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
