Align your credentials with PERM requirements early
PERM labor certification requires your education and experience to match the job description exactly. Before applying, confirm your accounting degree and any CPA progress map cleanly to the role EisnerAmper will advertise, since discrepancies can delay or derail the certification.
Target audit and tax roles for stronger sponsorship likelihood
EisnerAmper's Green Card filings cluster in audit, tax, and advisory functions. Roles at the senior associate or manager level in these departments are where sponsorship conversations are most likely to happen, so focus your application on these tracks.
Understand which EB category your role qualifies for
Most accounting professionals at EisnerAmper are sponsored under EB-2 or EB-3, depending on the role's degree requirements and your experience level. EB-2 requires an advanced degree or exceptional ability; EB-3 covers professionals with a bachelor's degree. Ask your recruiter which category the firm typically files under for your role.
Verify prevailing wage before salary negotiations
DOL requires EisnerAmper to pay at least the prevailing wage for your role and location during the PERM process. Use the OFLC Wage Search to look up the wage level for your job title and metro area so you enter salary discussions with accurate benchmark data.
Search EisnerAmper's LCA filing history on Migrate Mate
Before your interview, search EisnerAmper's Labor Condition Application filing history on Migrate Mate to see which job titles and office locations the firm has sponsored. This tells you where active sponsorship is happening and helps you target the right team.
Raise Green Card sponsorship at the offer stage, not after
EisnerAmper's immigration decisions are typically made during offer negotiation, not mid-employment. Once you have an offer, ask directly whether the firm will sponsor a Green Card and what the expected timeline to filing is, so both sides have clear expectations from day one.
EisnerAmper Green Card Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does EisnerAmper sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, EisnerAmper sponsors Green Card visas for international professionals in accounting and advisory roles. The firm files under the EB-2 and EB-3 employment-based categories, with sponsorship concentrated in audit, tax, and financial consulting. Sponsorship is typically initiated after you've established yourself in a role and is subject to USCIS and DOL approval.
Which roles and departments at EisnerAmper typically receive Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship at EisnerAmper is most common in audit, tax, and advisory functions, particularly at the senior associate and manager levels. Roles requiring specialized accounting credentials or technical expertise in areas like financial services advisory or transaction advisory tend to see the most consistent sponsorship activity across the firm's office locations.
How do I find EisnerAmper job openings that include Green Card sponsorship?
Migrate Mate lets you filter EisnerAmper's verified sponsorship history by job title and location, so you can identify which roles and offices have an active sponsorship track record. Apply to positions in departments where the firm has filed consistently, and confirm sponsorship eligibility directly with the recruiter before accepting an offer.
How do I navigate the Green Card process at EisnerAmper?
EisnerAmper typically sponsors Green Cards through PERM labor certification, which requires DOL to certify that no qualified U.S. worker is available for your role. After PERM approval, the firm files an I-140 immigrant petition with USCIS. Your immigration attorney, provided or approved by EisnerAmper, will manage the filings, but you'll need to supply detailed work history and educational documents throughout.
How long does the Green Card process take at EisnerAmper?
The timeline depends on your country of birth and the EB category your role falls under. PERM certification alone can take six months to over a year. For most applicants not born in India or China, I-485 adjustment of status can follow relatively quickly after I-140 approval. Indian and Chinese nationals face significantly longer waits due to per-country visa backlogs tracked by USCIS.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at EisnerAmper?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
