Job Roles at GlobalPoint
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in GlobalPoint Green Card Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target roles with clear degree requirements
Green Card sponsorship at GlobalPoint typically flows to positions requiring a specific technical degree. Software engineering, systems architecture, and data roles tend to qualify most cleanly for EB-2 or EB-3 because the specialty occupation standard is straightforward to satisfy.
Understand which Green Card pathway applies to you
GlobalPoint files under both EB-2 and EB-3. EB-2 suits candidates with advanced degrees or exceptional ability. EB-3 covers professionals with standard bachelor's degrees. Knowing which category fits your background before your interview signals seriousness and saves time later.
Build tenure before expecting PERM to start
Most technology companies, including GlobalPoint, prefer sponsoring employees who have demonstrated consistent performance. Joining as an F-1 OPT hire and building a track record of contributions is the most reliable path to triggering the PERM labor certification process.
Ask about Green Card timelines during the offer stage
The best moment to clarify GlobalPoint's sponsorship policy is during offer negotiation, not after you've started. Ask specifically whether the role is eligible for Green Card sponsorship and what the typical timeline looks like from hire date to PERM filing.
Use verified sponsorship data when searching for roles
Not every open role at GlobalPoint will lead to Green Card sponsorship. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you focus applications on positions where sponsorship is a realistic outcome rather than a possibility.
Prepare for the PERM process early
PERM requires GlobalPoint to document a formal recruitment effort before filing. Understanding this process, including prevailing wage requirements and the employer's internal approval steps, helps you set accurate timeline expectations and avoid being caught off guard by delays.

Does GlobalPoint sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, GlobalPoint sponsors Green Card visas for qualifying employees in the technology and software space. The company files petitions under the EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant visa categories. Sponsorship is generally tied to full-time permanent roles where the position meets specialty occupation criteria and the employee has established a performance track record.
Which roles at GlobalPoint are most likely to receive Green Card sponsorship?
Technical roles in software engineering, systems development, data science, and IT infrastructure are the most consistent recipients of Green Card sponsorship at GlobalPoint. These positions carry clearly defined degree requirements, which makes them well-suited for EB-2 and EB-3 filings. Roles in sales, operations, or general management are less commonly sponsored.
How do I start the Green Card process at GlobalPoint?
The process begins with PERM labor certification, which GlobalPoint files with the Department of Labor on your behalf. Before PERM can be submitted, the company must conduct a formal recruitment effort and document that no qualified U.S. workers were displaced. Once PERM is certified, GlobalPoint files an I-140 immigrant petition with USCIS, followed by adjustment of status or consular processing.
How long does the Green Card process take at GlobalPoint?
The timeline depends heavily on your country of birth and the visa category. PERM labor certification alone can take six months to over a year. For applicants born in countries with high demand, such as India, the wait for a visa number after I-140 approval can extend significantly. Starting the process early, ideally while on F-1 OPT or H-1B status, provides the most runway.
How do I find open Green Card jobs at GlobalPoint?
The most reliable approach is to search for GlobalPoint roles on Migrate Mate, which filters job listings by verified sponsorship history so you can identify positions where Green Card support is a realistic outcome. When reviewing any listing, look for explicit language about immigrant visa sponsorship rather than assuming all open roles qualify.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at GlobalPoint?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
