INTRODUCTION
The GTM Engineer is embedded within InterSystems North America Sales and aligned to the AI Enablement Team. This individual will serve as the primary architect of next-generation go-to-market workflows, partnering with Technical Services, Pega Development, Sales Operations, and Sales Enablement to redesign how the NA Sales organization operates. The GTM Engineer will accelerate the adoption of AI-enabled tooling and intelligent automation to support seller effectiveness, increase seller productivity, improve pipeline quality, provide the broader organization sales insights, and drive new software revenue growth across the AE, Sales Engineer, BDR, and CSM functions. This role reports to the Head of NA Sales Strategy & Operations and operates at the intersection of sales strategy, technology, and sales execution — requiring both the strategic vision to identify high-impact opportunities and the operational discipline to build and deploy working solutions.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities
Workflow Redesign & Process Engineering:
- Map, analyze, and redesign end-to-end sales department workflows to improve effectiveness of customer facing resources. Changes should eliminate friction, support pipeline creation, and accelerate revenue velocity.
- Partner with Pega Development and Technical Services teams to configure, build, and deploy workflow automation solutions that reduce administrative burden on AEs, SEs, BDRs, and CSMs.
- Identify high-ROI automation opportunities by working directly with customer-facing resources, sales enablement, and sales operations to understand daily pain points.
- Own the GTM sales effectiveness roadmap: prioritize initiatives, define requirements, manage delivery timelines, and track adoption metrics.
AI Partnership & Technology Adoption:
- Serve as the NA Sales liaison to the AI Enablement team, translating business needs into technical requirements and ensuring AI tooling is built for seller effectiveness and adoption, not just technical completeness.
- Drive the evaluation, piloting, and scaled deployment of AI-powered sales tools to improve selling time. This would include AI-assisted call summaries and follow-up automation, opportunity scoring, pipeline health monitoring, and content generation.
- Support enablement programs that accelerate adoption of new or improved processes and workflows across the NA Sales team, partnering with Sales Enablement on training design and delivery.
- Stay current on the GenAI/AI/ML landscape as it applies to B2B sales motions and represent emerging best practices to senior leadership.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner closely with Pega Development, Technical Services, and other functions to ensure process and workflow redesigns are scalable and integrated with core systems.
- Collaborate and coordinate cross functionally to ensure data driven workflows and potential downstream effects for affected teams.
- Engage with AEs, Sales Engineers, BDRs, CSMs, and Sales Enablement as both a stakeholder and an advocate — keeping the seller experience at the center of every design decision.
Measurement & Continuous Improvement:
- Define and track KPIs for every workflow initiative — including time savings, adoption rates, pipeline impact, and revenue contribution.
- Build dashboards and reporting that provides sales leadership real-time visibility into the productivity and revenue impact of GTM initiatives.
- Regularly evaluate deployed workflows and tools, incorporating feedback into iterative improvements.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of experience in sales operations, revenue operations, GTM strategy, or a technical sales engineering role at a B2B software or technology company.
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing workflow automation or process improvement programs in a sales environment.
- Experience applying AI/ML tools to sales, such as conversational intelligence, analytics, or generative AI for content and outreach.
- Strong project management skills. Experience driving multiple initiatives with clear milestones, stakeholder alignment, and delivery accountability.
- Exceptional communication skills — able to translate complex technical capabilities into clear, compelling value propositions for non-technical sellers and executives alike.
- Comfort with data: proficient in Excel and at least one BI tool, preferably Power BI.
- Experience working with or within existing tech stack of ZoomInfo, Outreach, LinkedIn, Artisan, and Pega and leveraging LLMs.
- Prior experience in a sales role (AE, SE, BDR, or CSM) is a strong differentiator.
- Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Performance Metrics
- Workflow adoption rates across targeted NA Sales populations (AEs, SEs, BDRs, CSMs).
- Measurable reduction in non-selling time for front-line roles (target: 15–20% reduction within 12 months).
- Number of AI use cases piloted, deployed, and sustained at scale.
- Pipeline and revenue contribution attributable to GTM engineering initiatives.
- Seller satisfaction scores related to tooling and workflow effectiveness.

Target technical and engineering roles first
InterSystems's Green Card sponsorship is concentrated in software engineering, systems development, and technical architecture. Focusing your application on these core technology functions gives you the strongest alignment with where sponsorship has historically been approved.
Express long-term intent early in the process
InterSystems sponsors Green Cards for employees it sees as long-term contributors. During interviews, demonstrate commitment to your technical specialty and the company's healthcare IT mission, not just the immediate role, to signal you're a permanent hire, not a short-term placement.
Understand the EB-2 and EB-3 pathways InterSystems uses
InterSystems files under both EB-2 and EB-3 categories. If your role requires a master's degree or specialized expertise, you may qualify for EB-2, which can move faster. Clarifying this with HR early helps you plan realistically around PERM and priority date timelines.
Build your case around PERM requirements from day one
Green Card sponsorship at InterSystems begins with PERM labor certification, where your job duties and qualifications are formally documented. The stronger the match between your background and the role's stated requirements, the smoother the PERM filing process tends to be.
Use verified job listings to find open sponsored roles
Not every InterSystems posting leads to Green Card sponsorship. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you identify InterSystems roles where international candidates have a realistic path to permanent residence.
Ask about sponsorship timelines before accepting an offer
Green Card processing involves PERM, I-140, and adjustment of status or consular processing, a multi-year journey. Asking InterSystems recruiters directly about when they typically initiate sponsorship helps you align expectations and avoid surprises after you've already joined.
InterSystems Green Card Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does InterSystems sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, InterSystems sponsors Green Card visas for qualifying employees. The company operates in the Technology and Software sector and has a consistent record of sponsoring permanent residence for technical professionals. Sponsorship is typically tied to full-time employment in roles where InterSystems has an ongoing business need, not offered as a blanket benefit to all hires.
Which roles at InterSystems are most likely to receive Green Card sponsorship?
Software engineers, systems developers, technical architects, and other core technology roles are the most common beneficiaries of Green Card sponsorship at InterSystems. The company's focus on healthcare IT and data platform development means roles requiring specialized domain knowledge and programming expertise are strong candidates for employer-sponsored permanent residence.
How does the Green Card application process work at InterSystems?
InterSystems typically initiates the process with PERM labor certification, where the Department of Labor confirms no qualified U.S. workers are available for your role. Once PERM is approved, InterSystems files an I-140 immigrant petition on your behalf. After that, you either apply for adjustment of status if you're already in the U.S., or go through consular processing abroad.
How long does it take to get a Green Card through InterSystems sponsorship?
The timeline varies significantly depending on your country of birth and the visa category. PERM and I-140 together can take one to two years. For applicants born in India or China, priority date backlogs under EB-2 and EB-3 can extend the total wait to many years. Applicants from other countries often move faster through the queue once the I-140 is approved.
How do I find InterSystems Green Card jobs and apply as an international candidate?
Start by identifying InterSystems roles in technical functions where sponsorship has been consistently approved. Migrate Mate lists verified employer sponsors and lets you filter for companies with real Green Card filing history, so you can prioritize applications where your chances of sponsorship are highest. When applying directly, be upfront about your sponsorship needs early in the process to avoid late-stage complications.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at InterSystems?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
