Align your credentials to PERM requirements early
PERM labor certification requires your education and experience to match the job description exactly. For Katalyst roles, verify your foreign degree equivalency through a NACES-accredited evaluation service before your employer initiates the PERM filing with DOL.
Distinguish EB-2 from EB-3 for your role
Consulting and life sciences staffing roles at Katalyst typically qualify under EB-3 for positions requiring a bachelor's degree. If your role demands an advanced degree or you qualify for a National Interest Waiver, USCIS may accept an EB-2 petition instead.
Target roles with direct-hire rather than contract placement
Katalyst operates both staffing and direct-hire models. Green Card sponsorship is far more common for direct-hire consulting and life sciences positions, where Katalyst is your employer of record throughout the PERM process, not a staffing intermediary.
Use Migrate Mate to identify Katalyst's LCA filing history
Before applying, search Katalyst's Labor Condition Application filings on Migrate Mate to see which job titles and locations the company has sponsored. This helps you target roles where Green Card sponsorship is already an established pattern, not a negotiated exception.
Confirm prevailing wage tier before salary negotiations
DOL assigns wage levels one through four based on experience and responsibility. Use the OFLC Wage Search to identify which wage level Katalyst's sponsored roles typically fall under in your metro area, so your salary expectations align with what PERM will require.
Prepare for the supervised recruitment phase
PERM requires your employer to run a genuine recruitment campaign and document that no qualified U.S. workers were available. At Katalyst, this phase can take three to six months before the DOL application is filed, so factor this into your overall Green Card timeline.
Katalyst Healthcares & Life Sciences Green Card Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Katalyst Healthcares & Life Sciences sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, Katalyst Healthcares & Life Sciences sponsors Green Card visas for qualifying employees. Sponsorship is most common for direct-hire roles in healthcare consulting, life sciences staffing coordination, and clinical operations. Katalyst typically pursues the PERM-based EB-2 or EB-3 route, depending on the degree requirements attached to the specific position.
Which roles at Katalyst Healthcares & Life Sciences are most likely to receive Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship at Katalyst is most commonly associated with direct-hire consulting and life sciences roles where the company serves as your long-term employer of record. Positions in clinical research, regulatory affairs, and healthcare IT consulting tend to align with PERM-eligible job descriptions. Contract staffing placements are less frequently sponsored.
How do I start the Green Card process at Katalyst Healthcares & Life Sciences?
Raise the question of Green Card sponsorship during the offer negotiation stage, before you accept a position. Katalyst's HR and immigration team will assess whether your role meets PERM labor certification criteria. From there, DOL supervises the recruitment and certification process, followed by an I-140 immigrant petition filed with USCIS.
How long does the Green Card process take at Katalyst Healthcares & Life Sciences?
The full Green Card timeline through PERM typically runs two to four years for most applicants, though priority date backlogs for certain countries can extend this significantly. The PERM labor certification phase alone can take six to twelve months before USCIS receives the I-140 petition. Your country of birth determines how long you wait after I-140 approval.
How do I find Green Card jobs at Katalyst Healthcares & Life Sciences?
Migrate Mate lists open positions at companies with verified Green Card sponsorship history, including Katalyst Healthcares & Life Sciences. Filtering by employer and visa type lets you identify direct-hire consulting and life sciences roles where sponsorship is realistic. Pair this with a review of Katalyst's LCA filing history to confirm which job titles have been sponsored before.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at Katalyst Healthcares & Life Sciences?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
