Target engineering and technical roles first
Klaviyo's Green Card sponsorship activity centers on software engineering, data science, and infrastructure roles. These functions align directly with the company's core product development, making them the strongest entry points for Green Card sponsorship conversations.
Confirm sponsorship intent before accepting an offer
Not every role at a technology company comes with Green Card sponsorship, even at companies with a sponsorship track record. Ask directly during the offer stage whether the position includes Green Card support and what the typical timeline looks like.
Understand where you sit in the Green Card process
Klaviyo typically begins Green Card proceedings after you've established tenure in a role. Knowing whether you'd be starting PERM labor certification or already have an approved I-140 shapes your negotiation and career planning considerably.
Use Migrate Mate to verify Klaviyo's sponsorship history
Before applying, confirm Klaviyo's Green Card activity is real and current. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, saving you from pursuing roles at companies with no documented Green Card filings.
Align your background with Klaviyo's product areas
Klaviyo operates in marketing technology and e-commerce analytics. Candidates with experience in SaaS platforms, data pipelines, or customer data infrastructure are well-positioned for the roles most likely to come with Green Card sponsorship consideration.
Ask about the immigration support structure during interviews
Strong Green Card sponsors typically work with dedicated immigration counsel and have internal HR processes for managing petitions. Asking Klaviyo about their immigration support during interviews signals seriousness and helps you gauge how organized the process will be.
Klaviyo Green Card Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Klaviyo sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, Klaviyo sponsors Green Card visas for qualifying employees. The company has a documented history of filing Green Card petitions, primarily for roles in engineering, software development, and technical operations. Sponsorship is typically offered after a period of employment, and availability depends on the specific role and business need at the time of hiring.
Which roles and departments at Klaviyo are most likely to receive Green Card sponsorship?
Klaviyo's Green Card sponsorship activity is concentrated in technical and product-focused departments, including software engineering, data science, machine learning, and infrastructure. These roles are central to Klaviyo's SaaS platform and tend to require specialized skills that align well with the specialty occupation requirements underpinning most Green Card petitions filed through PERM labor certification.
How do I navigate the Green Card application process at Klaviyo?
Klaviyo typically handles Green Card petitions through employer-sponsored pathways, most commonly PERM labor certification followed by an EB-2 or EB-3 immigrant visa petition. The company's HR and immigration counsel manage the process, but you'll need to provide detailed employment history, educational credentials, and supporting documentation. Starting on H-1B visa status at Klaviyo is the most common precursor to initiating Green Card proceedings.
How long does the Green Card process take if sponsored by Klaviyo?
The timeline depends heavily on your country of birth and the visa category used. PERM labor certification alone takes six months to over a year, and for applicants born in India or China, priority date backlogs can extend the total wait considerably beyond that. Klaviyo initiating your petition as early as possible in your employment is the most important factor in managing the overall timeline.
How do I find open Green Card sponsorship jobs at Klaviyo?
Searching Klaviyo's careers page directly is a starting point, but job listings rarely specify Green Card sponsorship availability. Migrate Mate is built specifically for this problem, letting you browse verified Green Card sponsors and filter opportunities at companies like Klaviyo by real sponsorship history rather than relying on self-reported claims in job postings.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at Klaviyo?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
