Align your credentials with PERM requirements
Lifepoint Health® relies on the PERM labor certification process to sponsor most EB-2 and EB-3 roles. Your degree, license, and work history must match the minimum requirements listed in the PERM application exactly, any discrepancy between your credentials and the job description can trigger a denial.
Target clinical roles with persistent staffing gaps
Lifepoint Health® operates community hospitals in rural and underserved markets where nursing, therapy, and specialized clinical roles are chronically hard to fill. These persistent shortages make Green Card sponsorship more likely for roles like registered nurse, physical therapist, and medical imaging specialist than for administrative positions.
Clarify the EB-2 versus EB-3 pathway early
EB-3 is the standard path for most clinical roles at Lifepoint Health®, requiring a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. EB-2 applies if your role demands an advanced degree or exceptional ability. Confirm with the recruiter which category your position falls under before accepting an offer, since each carries different priority date timelines.
Verify your prevailing wage before negotiating
DOL requires Lifepoint Health® to pay you the prevailing wage for your role and location throughout the PERM process. Use the OFLC Wage Search to look up the wage level for your occupation and state before salary discussions, so you enter negotiations knowing the minimum the employer must meet.
Search Migrate Mate for verified Lifepoint Health® filings
Before applying, search Migrate Mate to review Lifepoint Health®'s Green Card filing history by role and facility. You'll see which job titles and locations have active sponsorship records, helping you target the specific campuses and departments where Green Card filings are most consistent.
Get your licensing board verification ready before filing
Healthcare roles at Lifepoint Health® require state licensure, and USCIS will review your license status during the immigrant petition stage. Confirm your license is active, transferable to the state where you'll work, and not subject to any pending disciplinary actions before your employer files the I-140 petition.
Lifepoint Health® Green Card Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Lifepoint Health® sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, Lifepoint Health® sponsors Green Card visas for qualified healthcare professionals. Sponsorship is typically offered for clinical roles in nursing, therapy, and medical imaging across its community hospital network. The process generally follows the EB-2 or EB-3 pathway and includes PERM labor certification before the USCIS immigrant petition stage.
Which roles at Lifepoint Health® are most likely to receive Green Card sponsorship?
Sponsorship at Lifepoint Health® is most consistent for clinical and allied health positions, including registered nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and medical imaging specialists. These roles face persistent shortages at Lifepoint Health®'s community hospitals, which strengthens the employer's ability to satisfy DOL's PERM recruitment requirements.
How does the Green Card application process work at Lifepoint Health®?
Lifepoint Health® typically initiates the PERM labor certification with DOL, demonstrating no qualified U.S. workers are available for the role. Once PERM is certified, the company files an I-140 immigrant petition with USCIS. After approval and your priority date becomes current, you apply for adjustment of status or consular processing.
How long does the Green Card process take at Lifepoint Health®?
The timeline depends on your visa category and country of birth. EB-3 applicants born in countries without backlogs can complete the process in one to three years. Applicants from high-demand countries like India or China may face significantly longer waits due to annual per-country visa limits. USCIS publishes monthly Visa Bulletin updates tracking priority date movement.
How do I find open Green Card sponsorship jobs at Lifepoint Health®?
Migrate Mate lists open positions at employers with verified Green Card filing history, including Lifepoint Health®. Filter by facility location and job category to find roles where sponsorship has been offered previously. Cross-referencing with Lifepoint Health®'s own careers portal ensures you're applying to currently posted positions aligned with active sponsorship activity.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at Lifepoint Health®?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
