Align your credentials to EB-2 or EB-3
Riverside Health sponsors through both EB-2 and EB-3, so your degree and licensure determine which pathway fits. EB-2 requires an advanced degree or exceptional ability; EB-3 covers professionals with a bachelor's degree. Confirm your classification before applying so your resume targets the right opening.
Obtain U.S. licensure before your interview
Healthcare roles at Riverside Health nearly always require active state licensure to trigger the Green Card sponsorship process. Boards like NCLEX for nurses take months to clear. Having your license in hand signals you're sponsorship-ready and removes a common barrier that stalls PERM filings.
Research which departments file PERM regularly
Riverside Health's Green Card activity is concentrated in clinical departments: nursing, radiology, and therapy services. Targeting those teams directly, rather than administrative or support roles, significantly improves your odds of landing a position where sponsorship is a standard part of the hiring conversation.
Understand what PERM requires from your employer
Before accepting an offer, confirm Riverside Health will complete the DOL PERM labor certification for your role. PERM requires the employer to conduct a supervised recruitment process and document that no qualified U.S. workers were available, so their HR team must be familiar with the compliance steps involved.
Benchmark your salary against prevailing wage early
PERM filings require your offered salary to meet DOL's prevailing wage for your occupation and location. Use the OFLC Wage Search to look up the wage level for your role before negotiating your offer, so you can flag any gap before it becomes a PERM rejection risk.
Use Migrate Mate to confirm Riverside Health's filing history
Knowing Riverside Health's Green Card filing history by role and department gives you a real negotiating edge. Pull up Riverside Health on Migrate Mate to see which positions have been sponsored and use that data to shape where you apply and what you ask for during the offer stage.
Riverside Health Green Card Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Riverside Health sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, Riverside Health sponsors Green Card visas for qualifying employees, primarily through the EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant visa categories. Sponsorship is most common for clinical roles in nursing, radiology, and allied health services. You'll need a confirmed job offer and active state licensure before the company initiates the PERM labor certification process with DOL.
Which roles at Riverside Health typically receive Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship at Riverside Health is concentrated in patient-facing clinical roles, including registered nurses, radiologic technologists, physical therapists, and occupational therapists. These positions consistently meet the specialty occupation and prevailing wage thresholds that make PERM filings viable. Administrative, facilities, and general support roles are rarely sponsored for permanent residency.
How do I start the Green Card process at Riverside Health?
After receiving a job offer, Riverside Health's HR or immigration team typically initiates the DOL PERM labor certification, which documents that no qualified U.S. workers were available for the role. Once PERM is certified, USCIS processes the immigrant petition. You can review the full process sequence on USCIS before your first conversation with the employer.
How long does the Green Card process take at Riverside Health?
The timeline depends heavily on your country of birth and the visa category. PERM labor certification with DOL typically takes six to eighteen months on its own. If you're born in a backlogged country like India or China, the EB-3 wait for a visa number can extend many years beyond that. EB-2 with an advanced degree may move faster if your priority date is current.
How do I find open Green Card jobs at Riverside Health?
Search Migrate Mate to filter Riverside Health's open roles by Green Card sponsorship history, so you're applying to positions where sponsorship is already established practice rather than a new request. Cross-reference each role's requirements against your licensure status and degree level to confirm you fit the EB-2 or EB-3 pathway before submitting your application.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at Riverside Health?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
