Job Roles at Stryker
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Stryker Green Card Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target technical and engineering roles
Stryker's Green Card sponsorship is concentrated in engineering, R&D, and technical functions. Roles in medical device development, manufacturing engineering, and software engineering have the strongest sponsorship track record across Stryker's U.S. facilities.
Understand the PERM labor certification process
Stryker typically sponsors Green Cards through PERM labor certification before filing an I-140 immigrant petition. Ask your recruiter early whether a specific role has been approved for this pathway, so there are no surprises after you've accepted an offer.
Use Migrate Mate to identify verified roles
Not every Stryker job listing will mention Green Card sponsorship. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you focus your applications on openings where sponsorship is a realistic outcome.
Clarify sponsorship during the interview process
Stryker hiring managers in medical devices are generally familiar with visa and Green Card processes. Raise the sponsorship question after you've demonstrated your value, ideally once you've moved past the initial screening stage into substantive interviews.
Align your background with Stryker's regulatory and quality needs
Regulatory affairs and quality assurance professionals with medical device experience are consistently in demand at Stryker. These specialized roles are harder to fill domestically, which strengthens the business case for Green Card sponsorship through the PERM process.
Factor in EB-2 versus EB-3 category eligibility
Stryker sponsors both EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards depending on the role's educational and experience requirements. Positions requiring advanced degrees or exceptional expertise may qualify for EB-2, which can mean a different priority date timeline for your country of birth.

Does Stryker sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, Stryker sponsors Green Card visas for eligible employees in qualifying roles. Sponsorship is most common in technical, engineering, scientific, and regulatory functions. Stryker is considered one of the more active Green Card sponsors in the medical devices industry, making it a strong target for international professionals seeking permanent residency.
Which roles and departments at Stryker typically receive Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship at Stryker is most common in engineering, research and development, software, regulatory affairs, quality assurance, and manufacturing. These departments have consistent demand for specialized skills that can be harder to source domestically, which supports the PERM labor certification process that underpins most Stryker Green Card filings.
How does the Green Card application process work at Stryker?
Stryker typically initiates the Green Card process through PERM labor certification, where the company demonstrates to the Department of Labor that no qualified U.S. worker is available for the role. After PERM approval, Stryker files an I-140 immigrant petition. You can then apply for adjustment of status or consular processing once a visa number becomes available.
How long does the Green Card process take at Stryker?
Timeline depends heavily on your visa category and country of birth. EB-2 and EB-3 filings from most countries can see final approval within one to three years, but applicants born in India or China face much longer waits due to per-country backlogs. Discussing your priority date situation with Stryker's immigration team early in the process is important.
How do I find Green Card jobs at Stryker?
Search Stryker's careers page and filter for roles in engineering, regulatory, or R&D functions where sponsorship is most likely. Migrate Mate also lists verified Green Card sponsor employers like Stryker, letting you filter job opportunities by confirmed sponsorship history rather than relying on job descriptions that may not mention it explicitly.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at Stryker?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
