Job Roles at TE Connectivity
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in TE Connectivity Green Card Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target engineering and R&D roles first
TE Connectivity's Green Card sponsorship activity is concentrated in technical disciplines like electrical engineering, software development, and product design. These roles align with the specialty occupation requirements that typically support PERM-based Green Card filings.
Ask about sponsorship policy during the offer stage
TE Connectivity manages sponsorship decisions at the business unit level. Raise your Green Card intentions during the offer negotiation, not after you start, so both sides can set realistic expectations before you sign.
Use verified job listings to find the right roles
Not every TE Connectivity job posting will lead to Green Card sponsorship. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and focus on roles where permanent residency support is actually available.
Connect your skills to TE Connectivity's core markets
TE Connectivity serves automotive, aerospace, industrial, and medical sectors. Candidates who can demonstrate domain expertise in these areas are stronger Green Card sponsorship candidates because the business case for retaining them long-term is clearer to hiring managers.
Build a relationship with the internal immigration team early
TE Connectivity works with outside immigration counsel to manage PERM filings. Establishing contact with your HR business partner or immigration coordinator soon after joining helps you stay informed about filing timelines and any documentation you need to prepare.

Get Access To All JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does TE Connectivity sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, TE Connectivity sponsors Green Card visas for qualifying employees. The company actively files PERM labor certifications and supports permanent residency petitions for technical and engineering staff. Sponsorship is typically initiated after an employee has demonstrated strong performance and the role meets the regulatory requirements for a permanent position.
Which roles and departments at TE Connectivity are most likely to receive Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship at TE Connectivity is most common in engineering, software development, research and development, and advanced manufacturing roles. Positions requiring specialized knowledge in connectivity systems, sensor technology, or electronics design tend to qualify more consistently, as they meet the specialty occupation standards underlying PERM-based filings.
How does the Green Card application process work at TE Connectivity?
TE Connectivity typically handles Green Card sponsorship through the PERM labor certification route, working with outside immigration counsel. The process starts with a prevailing wage determination, followed by a mandatory recruitment period, then the PERM filing with the Department of Labor. Once approved, the company files an I-140 immigrant petition on your behalf before you can proceed to the final adjustment of status step.
How long does the Green Card process take at TE Connectivity?
The overall timeline depends on your country of birth and the visa category under which you qualify. The PERM and I-140 stages alone can take one to two years. For applicants born in India or China, priority date backlogs can extend the wait significantly beyond that. It is worth discussing your specific situation with TE Connectivity's immigration counsel as early as possible.
How do I find Green Card jobs at TE Connectivity?
Search for TE Connectivity roles that explicitly mention visa sponsorship or permanent residency support, and cross-reference those listings against verified sponsorship data. Migrate Mate tracks real Green Card sponsorship activity by employer, so you can confirm that TE Connectivity has an active sponsorship history before investing time in an application and interview process.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at TE Connectivity?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
