Match your credentials to PERM requirements early
PERM labor certification requires your foreign credentials to meet the minimum requirements listed in the job posting. Get your nursing license, therapy certification, or medical degree evaluated by a USCIS-recognized credential assessment body before your first interview at Tower Health.
Identify which Green Card category fits your role
Tower Health files under EB-2 for roles requiring advanced degrees, like clinical specialists, and EB-3 for positions such as registered nurses and allied health professionals. Knowing which category applies to your role helps you set realistic timeline expectations from the start.
Use Migrate Mate to verify Tower Health's sponsorship history
Before applying, confirm that Tower Health has sponsored for your specific role type. Migrate Mate lets you filter employer Green Card filing history by occupation, so you can see whether your job title has been sponsored before and approach your application with confidence.
Request PERM filing clarity during the offer stage
Ask the recruiter or HR team whether your offer letter will specify that the position is open to Green Card sponsorship. At healthcare employers like Tower Health, PERM eligibility is often determined role-by-role, so getting this confirmed in writing protects your timeline.
Benchmark your salary against DOL prevailing wages
PERM requires Tower Health to pay you at least the prevailing wage for your occupation and location. Use the OFLC Wage Search to check the wage level for your specific role before accepting an offer, so there are no surprises during the DOL review process.
Document specialty occupation evidence for EB-2 applications
If you're pursuing an EB-2 at Tower Health, gather evidence that your position requires an advanced degree in a specific field. Use O*NET to identify the recognized education requirements for your occupation, which strengthens the employer's attestation during adjudication by USCIS.
Tower Health Green Card Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Tower Health sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, Tower Health sponsors Green Card visas for qualifying healthcare professionals. The company has a history of filing PERM labor certifications and immigrant visa petitions for clinical roles, including nursing, therapy, and specialized medicine. Sponsorship is typically tied to specific positions, so confirm eligibility directly with the recruiting or HR team during the hiring process.
Which roles at Tower Health are most likely to receive Green Card sponsorship?
Registered nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and clinical specialists are among the roles most commonly sponsored for Green Cards at Tower Health. Allied health positions that are difficult to fill domestically tend to qualify for PERM-based sponsorship under EB-3. Advanced practice and specialized clinical roles may qualify under EB-2 if they require a master's degree or higher.
How do I start the Green Card process at Tower Health?
The process typically begins after you receive and accept a job offer. Tower Health's HR or legal team initiates the PERM labor certification with DOL, which must be completed before USCIS can adjudicate your immigrant visa petition. You can use Migrate Mate to understand the filing stages and prepare supporting documentation before your employer formally begins the process.
How long does Green Card sponsorship take at Tower Health?
The timeline depends on your visa category and country of birth. PERM labor certification alone can take six to eighteen months. EB-3 cases from high-demand countries like India or China may face additional waits due to visa backlogs tracked in the USCIS Visa Bulletin. EB-2 cases for applicants born in lower-demand countries often move faster through USCIS adjudication.
How do I increase my chances of Green Card sponsorship at Tower Health?
Arrive at the offer stage with your credentials already evaluated, your license active in Pennsylvania, and a clear understanding of whether your role falls under EB-2 or EB-3. Employers in healthcare respond well to candidates who can demonstrate they've done the groundwork. Ask directly about sponsorship policy during the final interview round rather than waiting until an offer is extended.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at Tower Health?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
