We offer highly competitive compensation (including uncapped commissions) and benefits packages.
What will you be doing?
Relationship and Account Management
- Identify and prioritize relationship building and pursuit planning and execution with regional and practice leads.

- Incorporate horizontal expertise and teams into E&U pursuits, including process improvement, program/change management, technology enablement, data & analytics, business process outsourcing, workforce optimization, strategic sourcing, etc.
- Integrate into our priority accounts where needed: develop a working knowledge of the organization and its key players, and work with our account leadership teams to drive business in new buying centers.
- Research both new and existing accounts and prospects, establish new contacts, and conduct introductory and follow-up meetings.
- Map and segment the national marketplace, then drive the execution of plans to secure new business.
- Support engagement teams with proposal development, contracting, and account administration activities, including timely and proactive resolution of issues.
- Attend industry and alliance conferences in the U.S. to introduce West Monroe to new prospects, understand the latest industry trends and how West Monroe uniquely addresses them, and strengthen existing relationships.
- Mentor staff in growing business development skills and build a strong internal network to support sales pursuits.
Sales Performance
- Leverage sales experience in achieving $3-5M+ in annual sales and building/maintaining a 2-3X pipeline.
- Domain knowledge and understanding in several utility operations business functions: distribution/transmission operations, IT/OT, customer service, field operations, supply chain, asset management, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, regulatory/federal affairs.

- Assist/drive in the influencing and collaborative development of RFP responses for large investor-owned utilities. Interface with utility procurement teams through the RFP process from beginning to end.
- Bring a "Hunter Mentality" approach to field sales from prospecting to close with an individual contributor mindset, while bringing along individuals with the right experience & expertise.
- Work with West Monroe Marketing to develop new client case studies/project summaries and execute marketing campaigns. Leverage campaigns to follow up with new prospects and existing accounts for opportunity identification, qualification, and follow up.
- Help ideate and create new offerings and capabilities and offer insights for thought leadership and research initiatives that can be taken to market.
- Lead and/or collaborate on key account planning, and execute those plans for account growth.
We need someone who can bring the following to the table:
- Demonstrable knowledge and articulation of Energy & Utilities industry issues/trends, and a compelling message on how West Monroe differentiates itself in this marketplace – focusing on strategy, management, IT, and digital transformation.

Align your specialty to EB-2 requirements
West Monroe's consulting work in strategy and technology operations often maps to EB-2 advanced degree roles. Document your graduate credentials and any specialized expertise before your first interview, so you can have an informed conversation about pathway eligibility when the time comes.
Understand what PERM labor certification requires
Green Card sponsorship at a consulting firm starts with PERM, a DOL process where West Monroe must advertise your role and prove no qualified U.S. worker is available. Knowing this timeline, typically 12 to 18 months, helps you plan your H-1B visa extensions and project assignments around it realistically.
Target client-facing delivery roles strategically
West Monroe's Green Card sponsorships tend to cluster in billable consulting and technology delivery practices rather than internal corporate functions. Focus your applications on practice areas where you can demonstrate specialized expertise, since those roles are more likely to meet the specialty occupation threshold USCIS requires for EB classification.
Negotiate sponsorship commitment before signing
Consulting firms can reassign or restructure practices faster than a PERM case moves. Get written confirmation that West Monroe will sponsor your Green Card and clarify whether sponsorship survives a practice-area transfer, because PERM is tied to a specific job description that must remain substantially unchanged throughout the process.
Search verified Green Card filing history on Migrate Mate
Before applying, run a search on Migrate Mate to review West Monroe's Green Card filing history by role and practice area. That data tells you which job titles have historically received sponsorship, so you can target the positions most likely to come with a genuine pathway rather than a vague promise.
Benchmark your salary against OFLC prevailing wages
PERM requires West Monroe to pay you the DOL prevailing wage for your occupation and location. Use the OFLC Wage Search to look up the wage level for your consulting role before negotiations, so a compensation offer that falls below the required threshold doesn't delay or derail your Green Card filing later.
West Monroe Green Card Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does West Monroe sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, West Monroe sponsors Green Cards for qualifying employees, primarily through EB-2 and EB-3 pathways. Sponsorship is selective and generally reserved for experienced consultants and technical specialists in the firm's core practice areas. The process begins with PERM labor certification filed by West Monroe with DOL on your behalf.
Which roles at West Monroe typically receive Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship at West Monroe is most common in client-delivery consulting roles across technology, operations, and strategy practices. Senior consultants and specialists with advanced degrees or demonstrated expertise in a specific domain are the strongest candidates. Internal corporate and administrative roles are less frequently sponsored.
How do I start the Green Card process at West Monroe?
Raise Green Card sponsorship with your manager and HR business partner once you've established yourself in a stable, long-term role. West Monroe initiates the PERM labor certification through DOL, which requires a defined job description. Changes to your role after filing can reset the process, so stability in your position matters before starting.
How long does the Green Card process take at West Monroe?
The full process typically spans several years. PERM labor certification alone can take 12 to 18 months, followed by I-140 petition approval through USCIS, and then waiting for a visa number to become available depending on your country of birth and preference category. Planning ahead with your HR team is essential.
How do I find Green Card jobs at West Monroe that are open to sponsorship?
Use Migrate Mate to filter West Monroe job listings by Green Card sponsorship history, so you're targeting roles the firm has actually sponsored rather than ones that may only offer it in theory. Combining that data with direct outreach to West Monroe recruiters familiar with immigration benefits gives you the clearest picture of real sponsorship availability.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at West Monroe?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
