Job Description
We are FIS. Our technology powers the world’s economy and our teams bring innovation to life. We champion diversity to deliver the best products and solutions for our colleagues, clients and communities. If you’re ready to start learning, growing and making an impact with a career in FinTech, we’d like to know: Are you FIS?
About the role:
We are hiring a strategic, consultative Client Executive to own and grow (a) Tier 1 strategic account(s); clients with >$20M annual spend and complex, multi-year transformation agendas. This is not a “coverage” role. You will hold full commercial ownership, set the multi-year account strategy, and orchestrate cross-functional teams (product, pre-sales, delivery, consulting, exec sponsors, partners) to drive measurable client outcomes and material revenue expansion.
You will operate comfortably at C-suite/Board level, translating business strategy into programs enabled by FIS platforms and services, and closing large, transformation deals: from origination through renewal, expansion and ensuring ongoing client satisfaction and executive governance.
Your experience should include full responsibility and accountability for winning multi-million-dollar technology and transformation deals. Additionally, you must have a demonstrable track record of sustained year-on-year success in delivering above quota and strong client references.
Asset Finance experience is a strong preference, but not as important as a proven background in large-scale FinTech deals and true mastery of the sales process from origination to ongoing successful client management (articulated in superior client-satisfaction scores.)
This role is intentionally selective. We are investing significantly in the right individual and will only hire candidates with a proven track record of excellence in managing and expanding large, enterprise FinTech relationships.
About the team:
FIS Asset Finance provides flexible, fully integrated platforms supporting the full Asset Finance lifecycle, from Origination and Pricing through Servicing and Portfolio Management. Our solutions enable banks, captives, and specialist lenders to modernize operations, meet regulatory demands, and differentiate through technology, data, and analytics on a global scale.
This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the best companies to sell for in the FinTech industry. We offer state-of-the-art sales technology, a comprehensive onboarding program, extensive product and solutions training and support, ample career advancement and leadership development opportunities, competitive compensation packages, and many other benefits.
What you will be doing:
- Build and strengthen already notable strategic commercial partnerships with FIS’ largest and most discerning Asset Finance clients.
- Define and execute multi-year growth strategies in concentric circles; national, North American, and global that align to the enterprise objectives as well as local requirements.
- Ability to switch between large enterprise transformation programs and software deals, and tactical engagements and solutions.
- Growing relationships across the C-level as well as operational managers to understand client requirements across all levels and aspects.
- Build, lead, and manage (internal) win teams across disciplines to deliver complex solutions to solve multivariate problems, including external partners.
- Tight management of predictability relating to forecast, resource management, utilizing senior FIS resources as well as protecting FIS from a legal and revenue perspective.
- Significant (domestic and international) travel is required for up to 50% of your time.
What you need:
- A growth-mindset seeing the art-of-the-possible in building mutual partnerships.
- An ability to take strategic information such as annual reports and analyst briefings and translate this to required business capabilities that FIS can help the client deliver.
- Complex sales experience with domain knowledge of financial technology; Asset Finance preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience selling large enterprise-wide financial software with complex implementation requirements.
- A deep understanding of leading-edge technologies such as AI, LLM, Analytics, and Digital technologies and how they can be leveraged to achieve business outcomes.
- Natural curiosity to keep on top of Asset Finance industry trends as well as technology- and macro-economic-developments and how they impact our clients.
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant business field.
- An innate drive to succeed, deliver professional excellence and a win as a team.
- Being an ambassador internally and externally; build teams that make change happen.
- Must be based in the United States
What we offer you:
At FIS, we are as committed to growing our employees’ careers as our own business. We offer:
- Unparalleled access to C-level decision makers inside our clients.

- A very competitive salary and benefits with uncapped earnings potential.
- The opportunity to work with (some of) the brightest minds in the FinTech industry – especially in Asset Finance.

- A fantastic range of benefits designed to help support your lifestyle and well-being.

Align your degree to FIS job codes
FIS files LCAs under specific SOC codes tied to software development, systems analysis, and financial technology roles. Cross-reference your degree field against the O*NET occupation profile for your target role to confirm your credentials match the specialty occupation definition before applying.
Target fintech product and platform teams
FIS builds and maintains large-scale payment processing, banking software, and capital markets platforms. Engineering and product roles tied to these core business lines see the most consistent H-1B sponsorship activity, so positioning your resume around those specific product areas strengthens your targeting.
Verify your wage tier before negotiating
FIS must certify your offered salary meets the prevailing wage for your role and location through DOL. Run your target job title and metro area through the OFLC Wage Search before you receive an offer, so you can negotiate from a realistic baseline aligned with what USCIS will accept.
Confirm FIS participates in E-Verify early
FIS's E-Verify enrollment affects your STEM OPT and cap-gap options if you're transitioning from F-1 status. Confirm enrollment status during the offer stage, not after signing, because it determines whether your work authorization bridge holds between OPT expiration and H-1B activation on October 1.
Use Migrate Mate to track FIS's LCA history
Before your interview, search FIS's Labor Condition Application filing history on Migrate Mate. You'll see which job titles, office locations, and wage levels FIS has certified for H-1B workers, giving you concrete data to reference when discussing sponsorship eligibility with a recruiter or hiring manager.
Request the I-129 filing timeline at offer stage
FIS's internal legal team or outside counsel drives the H-1B petition timeline. Ask your recruiter at offer stage whether your start date accommodates USCIS's standard or premium processing window, since missing the April 1 filing deadline means waiting a full year for the next lottery cycle.
FIS H-1B Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does FIS sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, FIS sponsors H-1B visas for qualified candidates in technology and software roles. The company has an active sponsorship program primarily supporting positions in software engineering, data analytics, financial technology systems, and enterprise platform development. Sponsorship is typically initiated after a formal offer is extended and is not guaranteed for every role or department.
Which roles and departments at FIS typically receive H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B sponsorship at FIS is most common in software engineering, systems architecture, data science, and technology product roles tied to its core banking, payments, and capital markets platforms. Corporate functions like finance or operations are less likely to generate sponsorship, as those roles may not meet USCIS's specialty occupation standard for H-1B eligibility.
How do I navigate the H-1B application process at FIS?
Once FIS extends an offer, the company's immigration counsel handles the Labor Condition Application filing with DOL and the I-129 petition with USCIS. Your role is to provide supporting documents including academic credentials, employment verification, and a detailed job description. Ask your recruiter early which law firm or internal team manages filings so you know who your contact will be throughout the process.
How do I find H-1B jobs at FIS that are likely to be sponsored?
Migrate Mate lets you filter FIS job listings by LCA filing history, showing which specific roles and office locations FIS has actively sponsored for H-1B workers. This is more reliable than asking a recruiter upfront, since sponsorship decisions often happen later in the process and vary by team, hiring manager, and budget cycle.
What is the timeline for H-1B sponsorship at FIS?
The H-1B process at FIS follows the standard USCIS annual cycle. FIS must submit your petition during the April filing window, and if selected in the lottery, your H-1B status begins October 1. Premium processing is available to shorten the USCIS adjudication period to roughly three weeks, though FIS's policy on covering that cost varies by role and seniority level.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B jobs at FIS?
H-1B employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is determined when they file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, and ensures international hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
