Job Roles at Globus Medical
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Globus Medical H-1B Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target roles that align with H-1B specialty occupation requirements
Globus Medical's strongest H-1B sponsorship activity clusters around engineering, regulatory affairs, and R&D positions. Focus your applications on roles that require a specific bachelor's degree or higher, as these are most likely to qualify for H-1B sponsorship.
Verify sponsorship history before applying
Not every Globus Medical role comes with guaranteed H-1B support. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you confirm which positions have a track record of supporting international candidates before investing time in an application.
Engage the recruiter on sponsorship early in the process
Globus Medical recruiters handle H-1B decisions at the hiring manager level for technical roles. Raise your visa status in the first recruiter screen rather than waiting until an offer, so both sides can assess fit without wasted time later.
Highlight domain-specific expertise relevant to medical devices
Globus Medical prioritizes candidates who understand FDA regulatory pathways, implant design, or biomechanical engineering. Demonstrating industry-specific knowledge signals you can contribute quickly, making the cost and effort of H-1B sponsorship easier for the hiring team to justify.
Understand the H-1B lottery timeline before accepting an offer
If you need cap-subject H-1B sponsorship, Globus Medical must register you in the annual USCIS lottery in March for an October start date. Confirm this timeline with your recruiter so your start date aligns with when your H-1B status would actually take effect.

Does Globus Medical sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Globus Medical sponsors H-1B visas. The company has an active sponsorship program primarily focused on technical and scientific roles within its medical device operations. Sponsorship is most common in engineering, research and development, and regulatory affairs, though availability depends on the specific role and the hiring team's headcount budget.
Which roles and departments at Globus Medical are most likely to receive H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B sponsorship at Globus Medical is most consistently offered for roles in mechanical and biomedical engineering, software development, quality assurance, and clinical or regulatory affairs. These positions require a specific degree field, which satisfies the H-1B specialty occupation standard. Generalist business roles are less likely to receive sponsorship.
How do I navigate the H-1B application process at Globus Medical?
Once Globus Medical extends a conditional offer, their HR team works with an outside immigration counsel to prepare the H-1B petition. The employer handles the Labor Condition Application filing with the Department of Labor and submits the I-129 petition to USCIS. Your role is to provide documents like transcripts, degree certificates, and employment verification letters on a tight deadline.
How long does H-1B sponsorship take at Globus Medical?
For cap-subject candidates, the process starts with the USCIS registration lottery in March and, if selected, leads to an October 1 employment start date. The full timeline from lottery selection to approved status runs roughly six to eight months. If your petition qualifies for cap exemption, or if you're already in H-1B status, the timeline is shorter and more flexible.
How do I find H-1B jobs at Globus Medical as an international candidate?
Search for Globus Medical openings on Migrate Mate, which filters job listings by confirmed sponsorship history so you can identify roles where international candidates have previously been hired. When applying, tailor your resume to the medical device industry and note your visa status clearly. Reaching out to a Globus Medical recruiter directly after applying can also help move your application forward.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B jobs at Globus Medical?
H-1B employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is determined when they file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, and ensures international hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
