Job Roles at Intuit
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Intuit H-1B Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target Intuit's core engineering and product teams
Intuit's H-1B filings concentrate heavily in software engineering, data science, and product roles. Applying to positions within TurboTax, QuickBooks, or Credit Karma gives you the strongest alignment with where sponsorship activity historically clusters.
Confirm sponsorship before applying
Not every Intuit job listing explicitly states H-1B sponsorship. Use Migrate Mate to filter for verified sponsoring employers and roles, so you spend time on applications where sponsorship is confirmed rather than assumed.
Engage Intuit recruiters early and directly
Intuit's recruiting team at major tech career fairs and university hiring events regularly handles visa sponsorship questions. Raising H-1B early in conversations signals you understand the process and avoids surprises late in the hiring cycle.
Align your degree field with the specific role
H-1B approval requires your degree to directly relate to the job. For Intuit's technical roles, computer science, engineering, or finance degrees are strong fits. A mismatched degree can complicate petition approval even with a strong offer.
Understand Intuit's H-1B lottery timing
Intuit typically files H-1B cap petitions in March for an October 1 start date. If you receive an offer before March, confirm whether Intuit will file in the upcoming cap season or if you need to bridge status through another visa category.
Leverage Intuit's size as a sponsorship advantage
As a large technology employer with dedicated immigration counsel, Intuit has established H-1B petition workflows. This means faster internal approvals and experienced HR support, which reduces the administrative friction common at smaller companies.

Does Intuit sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Intuit sponsors H-1B visas and is a well-established sponsor in the technology and software industry. The company supports international employees across its major product lines, including TurboTax, QuickBooks, and Credit Karma. Sponsorship is most common for technical and product roles, though availability depends on the specific position and hiring cycle.
Which roles and departments at Intuit are most likely to receive H-1B sponsorship?
Software engineering, data science, machine learning, product management, and financial technology roles are where Intuit's H-1B sponsorship activity concentrates. Corporate functions in finance, accounting, and business analytics also see sponsorship, though less frequently than technical roles. Roles that require a specialized degree in a directly related field have the strongest H-1B approval profile.
How do I navigate the H-1B application process at Intuit?
Once Intuit extends an offer and confirms sponsorship, their internal immigration team works with outside immigration counsel to prepare your H-1B petition. You'll need to provide educational credentials, employment history, and degree verification documents. Intuit handles the employer-side filing, but you're responsible for ensuring your documents are accurate and submitted on time when requested.
How do I plan around H-1B timeline expectations at Intuit?
The H-1B cap lottery opens each April for an October 1 employment start date. Intuit typically files petitions in March. If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm your OPT expiration date against that timeline. If there's a gap, Intuit may be able to file a cap-exempt petition or bridge your status depending on your situation and their internal policies.
How do I find H-1B jobs at Intuit that confirm sponsorship?
Many job boards don't surface verified H-1B sponsorship data, making it hard to know which listings are genuinely open to visa holders. Migrate Mate aggregates roles from confirmed H-1B sponsors like Intuit, so you can filter specifically for positions where sponsorship is part of the employer's established hiring practice rather than a case-by-case decision.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B jobs at Intuit?
H-1B employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is determined when they file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, and ensures international hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
