At Netflix, our mission is to entertain the world. Together, we are writing the next episode - pushing the boundaries of storytelling, global fandom and making the unimaginable a reality. We are a dream team obsessed with the uncomfortable excitement of discovering what happens when you merge creativity, intuition and cutting-edge technology. Come be a part of what’s next.
About The Role
We are looking for a Senior Manager, Program Management to serve as a strategic architect for the Brand Creative Studio’s design ecosystem. Reporting directly to the Sr. Manager of Creative Operations and Program Management, you will be a key thought partner in reimagining how design operates is at its healthiest and most impactful level.
Your mission is to bridge the gap between Core Design and Production Design, ensuring they operate as a unified, high-performance engine rather than parallel tracks. You won't just manage timelines; you will rethink the foundational "how" of our work—from optimizing review and approval cycles to establishing BCS as the definitive brand steward for the entire organization. You are a systems thinker who ensures that as we scale high-volume work for Netflix House and beyond, we never compromise on craft or brand integrity.
Key Responsibilities
-
Strategic Operations & Process Innovation
-
Thought Partnership: Serve as the right-hand partner to the Sr. Manager of Creative Operations & Program Management to brainstorm, pilot, and implement studio-wide processes that improve design health and team velocity.
- Review & Approval Optimization: Critically evaluate and redesign how design work is reviewed and approved. Implement rituals that reduce friction, ensure creative alignment early, and empower designers to do their best work.
-
The "Design Healthy" Initiative: Monitor the pulse of the design team’s workload and sentiment, implementing operational guardrails to prevent burnout and ensure a sustainable balance between "big idea" thinking and execution.
-
Bridging Core & Production Design
-
Unified Lifecycle Management: Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of design programs, ensuring Core Design (conceptual systems) and Production Design (scaling and delivery) are seamlessly integrated.
- SLA & Delivery Architecture: Establish and refine Service Level Agreements that reflect the complexity of modern campaign needs—from 12-week ATL brand launches to rapid-turnaround BTL venue assets.
-
Systems Stewardship: Ensure that the systems built by Core Design are successfully operationalized by Production Design, maintaining a "source of truth" that prevents brand creep across all 1,500+ annual assets.
-
Global Brand Stewardship
-
BCS as Brand Authority: Formalize the role of BCS as the brand steward for the entire organization. Build the frameworks and toolkits that allow other departments to interact with the brand correctly while ensuring BCS remains the final authority on craft and quality.
-
Stakeholder Navigation: Partner with House Leads and Marketing stakeholders to translate business goals into clear, actionable design briefs that respect the studio's capacity and standards.
-
Team & Pod Leadership
-
Pod Orchestration: Help mentor a team of Program Managers, partnering with Senior Manager Creative Ops + Program Management to effectively map PMs to business areas to build deep domain expertise.
- Resource Advocacy: Use data and visibility tools (Airtable) to advocate for the design team, ensuring that resource allocation aligns with the studio’s highest strategic priorities.
What We Are Looking For
- 10-12+ years of experience in Program Management, Studio Operations, with a heavy emphasis on Design.
- Operational Visionary: You don’t just follow a process; you enjoy breaking and rebuilding it to make it better. You have a proven track record of implementing successful review/approval workflows.
- Systems Thinker: Deep experience managing the handoff between conceptual design and high-volume production.
- High Creative EQ: You understand the "why" behind the design and can speak the language of both designers and business leads.
- Brand Guardian: You have an uncompromising eye for quality and a passion for establishing brand standards that scale.

Target roles that align with H-1B specialty occupation requirements
Netflix's H-1B sponsorships concentrate in software engineering, data science, and product roles. Focus your applications on positions requiring a specific bachelor's degree or higher, these map cleanly to H-1B specialty occupation standards and are most likely to receive sponsorship.
Verify Netflix's sponsorship history before applying
Not every Netflix job posting explicitly states H-1B sponsorship. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you confirm Netflix's track record before investing time in a full application.
Understand Netflix's hiring culture before your interview
Netflix is known for its high-performance culture and detailed cultural fit assessments. Demonstrating deep technical expertise alongside alignment with their values around freedom, responsibility, and candor strengthens your candidacy for roles likely to receive H-1B sponsorship.
Engage Netflix's recruiting team early about sponsorship
Ask about H-1B sponsorship during your initial recruiter screen, not after an offer. Netflix's talent acquisition teams are experienced with visa sponsorship and can clarify whether a specific role and location are eligible before you progress further in the process.
Time your application around H-1B cap deadlines
Netflix files H-1B cap petitions for the annual April lottery. If you're not already in H-1B status, you'll need an offer in hand by late winter to allow Netflix's legal team time to prepare your petition before the USCIS registration window opens.
Highlight specialized skills that justify H-1B sponsorship
Netflix operates at significant technical scale in streaming, machine learning, and content delivery. Emphasizing domain expertise in these areas signals to hiring managers that your role requires the specialized knowledge that supports a strong H-1B specialty occupation case.
Netflix H-1B Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Netflix sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Netflix sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying roles across its technology and software operations. Sponsorship is most common in engineering, data science, machine learning, and product disciplines. Netflix works with experienced immigration counsel to manage H-1B filings, so candidates in technical roles can expect a structured sponsorship process when an offer is extended.
Which departments at Netflix are most likely to offer H-1B sponsorship?
Software engineering, data engineering, machine learning, content technology, and product management are the departments where H-1B sponsorship appears most frequently at Netflix. These roles typically require a specific technical degree, which satisfies the specialty occupation requirement central to H-1B eligibility. Corporate functions such as finance or legal may also sponsor in some cases.
How do I navigate the H-1B application process at Netflix?
Once Netflix extends an offer, their internal immigration team or outside counsel manages the H-1B petition on your behalf. You'll provide documentation including your degree credentials, resume, and employment details. Netflix handles the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor and the I-129 petition filing with USCIS. Your main responsibility is responding promptly to documentation requests.
How do I find H-1B sponsored jobs at Netflix on Migrate Mate?
Migrate Mate aggregates job listings from verified H-1B sponsors, including Netflix, so you can search specifically for roles with confirmed sponsorship history rather than guessing from job descriptions. Filter by company or visa type to surface active Netflix openings where H-1B sponsorship is supported, saving time you'd otherwise spend researching each posting manually.
How long does the H-1B process take when sponsored by Netflix?
For cap-subject H-1B petitions, the timeline runs from the USCIS registration lottery in March through an October 1 employment start date. Premium processing can reduce the petition adjudication window to roughly two to three weeks once filed. If you're already in H-1B status with another employer, a transfer to Netflix can move faster outside the cap cycle.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B jobs at Netflix?
H-1B employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is determined when they file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, and ensures international hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
