Target technical roles that align with H-1B specialty occupation requirements
NS IT Solutions operates in technology and software, so roles in software development, systems analysis, and IT consulting are most likely to qualify as specialty occupations. Focus your applications on positions that explicitly require a relevant bachelor's degree or higher.
Confirm sponsorship willingness before applying
Not every open role at NS IT Solutions will come with H-1B sponsorship. Reach out to their recruiting team early to confirm sponsorship is available for the specific position. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history before you invest time applying.
Understand the H-1B cap lottery and plan your timeline accordingly
H-1B visas are subject to an annual lottery with registration in March and an October 1 start date. If you need sponsorship to begin working, align your application timeline with NS IT Solutions's hiring cycle to ensure your petition can be filed before the registration window closes.
Highlight specialized technical skills that are difficult to fill domestically
IT consulting firms like NS IT Solutions sponsor H-1B visas when they cannot find qualified U.S. workers for specific roles. Demonstrating deep expertise in a particular technology stack or domain makes the business case for sponsorship stronger and differentiates you from candidates who do not require it.
Ask about their internal H-1B process and legal support
Some technology companies handle H-1B filings through in-house HR teams while others use outside immigration counsel. Asking NS IT Solutions about their process early signals that you understand how sponsorship works and helps you assess how smoothly they can execute a petition on your behalf.
Prepare for client-facing placement if applying to an IT consulting role
NS IT Solutions places consultants with end clients, which has implications for your H-1B petition, including the worksite address and project documentation requirements. Make sure you understand how consulting arrangements affect your visa filing and confirm the employer has experience navigating these requirements.
NS IT Solutions H-1B Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does NS IT Solutions sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, NS IT Solutions does sponsor H-1B visas. The company operates in the technology and software sector and has a history of filing H-1B petitions for qualifying roles. Sponsorship is not guaranteed for every open position, so confirm availability directly with their recruiting team before applying.
Which roles at NS IT Solutions are most likely to receive H-1B sponsorship?
Technical roles in software development, IT consulting, systems analysis, and related fields are most commonly sponsored. These positions typically require a specific bachelor's degree or higher, which satisfies the specialty occupation standard the H-1B requires. General or administrative roles are far less likely to qualify for sponsorship.
How do I apply for a position at NS IT Solutions with H-1B sponsorship?
Start by identifying open roles that match your technical background, then contact NS IT Solutions's recruiting team to confirm sponsorship is available for that specific position. Once you receive an offer, your employer works with immigration counsel to file a Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor and then an I-129 petition with USCIS. You can find verified sponsoring employers including NS IT Solutions on Migrate Mate.
How long does the H-1B sponsorship process take at NS IT Solutions?
The standard H-1B process runs from the March registration lottery to an October 1 start date, so the full cycle is roughly six to seven months from selection to work authorization. Premium processing, which expedites USCIS adjudication to around 15 business days, may be available depending on the employer's policy. Factor this timeline into your job search planning.
What should I know about H-1B sponsorship at an IT consulting firm like NS IT Solutions?
IT consulting firms place employees at client sites, which creates additional documentation requirements for H-1B petitions, including end-client letters and itineraries confirming the work location. USCIS scrutinizes these petitions more closely than direct-hire arrangements. Make sure NS IT Solutions has a clear process for handling these requirements and that the role involves specialized work tied to a specific project.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B jobs at NS IT Solutions?
H-1B employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is determined when they file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, and ensures international hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
