Job Roles at Pitney Bowes
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Pitney Bowes H-1B Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target technical and engineering roles
Pitney Bowes's H-1B sponsorship is concentrated in software engineering, data science, and hardware development roles tied to its shipping and mailing technology products. Focus your application on positions where specialized technical qualifications clearly justify sponsorship.
Understand the H-1B lottery timeline
Pitney Bowes must submit H-1B registrations in March for an October start date. If you're targeting a role there, confirm early whether your start date aligns with the cap cycle so there are no surprises.
Highlight specialty occupation qualifications
H-1B approval depends on the role qualifying as a specialty occupation. For Pitney Bowes positions, emphasize how your specific degree field directly maps to the technical requirements of the job, not just general experience.
Verify sponsorship history before applying
Not every open role at Pitney Bowes will come with H-1B sponsorship. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, saving you from applying to roles that won't support your visa.
Engage the HR team directly about sponsorship
During interviews at Pitney Bowes, ask the recruiter specifically whether the role budget includes H-1B sponsorship costs. In Electronics and Hardware, sponsorship decisions are often made at the business unit level, not company-wide.
Demonstrate long-term value in niche technology areas
Pitney Bowes evaluates H-1B sponsorship as a business investment. Candidates who connect their expertise in areas like logistics technology, hardware integration, or data analytics directly to Pitney Bowes's product roadmap are better positioned for sponsorship consideration.

Get Access To All JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Pitney Bowes sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Pitney Bowes sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying roles, primarily in technical and engineering disciplines. Sponsorship is not offered across all open positions, so it's important to confirm visa support with the recruiter early in the process. Roles supporting Pitney Bowes's shipping, mailing, and data technology products are the most likely candidates for sponsorship.
Which roles and departments at Pitney Bowes are most likely to receive H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B sponsorship at Pitney Bowes is most common in software engineering, data science, hardware development, and IT infrastructure roles. These positions align with the specialty occupation requirement that the job demands a specific bachelor's degree or higher in a directly related field, which is a core condition for H-1B approval.
How do I navigate the H-1B application process at Pitney Bowes?
Once Pitney Bowes extends a job offer with confirmed sponsorship, its legal or HR team files a Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor, then submits an H-1B petition with USCIS. Cap-subject applicants must go through the annual lottery in March. Pitney Bowes typically works with an outside immigration attorney to manage filings, so you'll coordinate primarily through HR.
How long does H-1B sponsorship take at Pitney Bowes?
For cap-subject H-1B petitions, the timeline runs from lottery registration in March to an October 1 start date at the earliest. If Pitney Bowes uses premium processing, USCIS adjudicates the petition within 15 business days of receipt. Without premium processing, standard adjudication can take several months after the April lottery selection.
How do I find H-1B jobs at Pitney Bowes that actually offer sponsorship?
The most reliable approach is to search specifically for Pitney Bowes roles on platforms that verify sponsorship history rather than relying solely on job postings, which rarely specify visa support. Migrate Mate lets you filter jobs by confirmed H-1B sponsors, so you can identify Pitney Bowes openings where sponsorship is part of the hiring picture before you apply.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B jobs at Pitney Bowes?
H-1B employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is determined when they file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, and ensures international hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
