ABOUT SONY MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT
At Sony Music Entertainment, we fuel the creative journey. We’ve played a pioneering role in music history, from the first-ever music label to the invention of the flat disc record. We’ve nurtured some of music’s most iconic artists and produced some of the most influential recordings of all time.
Today, we work in more than 70 countries, supporting a diverse roster of international superstars, developing independent artists, and visionary creators. From our position at the intersection of music, entertainment, and technology, we bring imagination and expertise to the newest products and platforms, embrace new business models, employ breakthrough tools, and provide powerful insights that help our artists push creative boundaries and reach new audiences. In everything we do, we’re committed to artistic integrity, transparency, and entrepreneurship.
Sony Music Entertainment is a member of the Sony family of global companies.
We're looking for a Manager of Digital Campaign Strategy and Execution for our Corporate Communications division to play a role in how the Company’s story gets told across every digital platform, format, and medium.
This role will conceive, build, and distribute campaigns across a variety of platforms that bring our company's work, culture, values, and news to life in formats that resonate — whether that’s a short-form video for a global employee audience, an audio feature that captures a cultural moment, or a visual social media post that earns attention in the feed. You understand that content isn’t one-size-fits-all, and you know how to shape a message differently for various mediums.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Develop and execute end-to-end digital content campaigns that support Corporate Communications priorities for global internal and external audiences
- Work across all formats — written, audio, video, and visual
- Apply a social-media-informed lens to all content — understanding platform behavior, trending formats, cultural moments, and virality potential — and bring that thinking into corporate storytelling
- Collaborate closely with the rest of the Corporate Communications team to align campaign content with company messaging and approvals process
- Distribute content across multiple platforms simultaneously, tailoring timing, format, and language framing to respect cultural nuances and time zone realities across global regions — including publishing outside standard business hours when news or campaign moments require it
- Apply cultural intelligence to every piece of content — understanding that what resonates in one market may land differently in another, and partnering with regional leads to ensure content is locally relevant without losing global consistency
- Track and analyze campaign performance data — including reach, click-through rates, and platform-specific engagement metrics — and report findings to the Corporate Communications leadership team with recommended adjustments
- Execute new ideas for platforms, formats, and storytelling vehicles based on performance data and audience insights to expand how the Corporate Communications team reaches and engages its audiences
- Conduct post-campaign analyses to identify performance drivers, audience behavior patterns, and opportunities for future improvement
- Collaborate with creative partners (designers, videographers, etc) to ensure data insights are incorporated into the creative development process without stifling creativity
WHO YOU ARE:
- 3+ years of experience in digital content or social media campaign strategy — ideally within entertainment, media, or a culturally driven brand
- A strong sense of urgency for completing projects and an ability to work in fast-paced and high pressure environments
- A strong portfolio demonstrating versatility across formats: written, audio, video, and visual/graphic content
- Deep fluency in social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging channels) and a genuine understanding of what performs and why
- Experience developing and managing content for corporate owned digital channels
- A strong understanding of emerging platforms, digital behaviors, and evolving technologies, with the ability to identify opportunities for innovation while maintaining a disciplined, brand-led approach
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity when crafting content for global audiences
- A data-driven approach to content — comfortable setting KPIs, reading analytics dashboards, and pivoting strategy based on what the numbers reveal about audience behavior
- Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to shift voice and tone across formats, from a punchy 15-second video script to a 700-word feature story
- Strong project management skills with the ability to run multiple campaigns simultaneously in a fast-moving environment
- Proficiency with content management systems, social scheduling tools, and basic video/audio production tools or platforms
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field
WHAT WE GIVE YOU:
- You join an inclusive, collaborative and global community where you have the opportunity to channel your passion every day
- A modern office environment designed to foster productivity, creativity, and teamwork empowering you to bring your best
- An attractive and comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life & disability coverage, and 401K + employer matching
- Voluntary benefits like company-paid identity theft protection and resources for pets, mental health and meditation resources, industry-leading fertility coverage, fully paid leave for childbirth or bonding, fully paid leave for caregivers, programs for loved ones with developmental disabilities and neurodiversity, subsidized back-up child and elder care, and reimbursement for adoption, surrogacy, tuition, and student loans
- Investment in your professional growth and development enabling you to thrive in our vibrant community
- The space to accelerate progress, positively disrupt, and create what happens next
- Time off for a winter recess

Target degree-specific roles at Sony Music
Sony Music's H-1B filings skew toward roles requiring a directly related bachelor's degree, not general business experience. Before applying, confirm your degree field maps precisely to the job description, since specialty occupation is the foundation USCIS evaluates when Sony files your petition.
Research Sony Music's LCA filings early
Use the OFLC Wage Search to look up Labor Condition Applications filed under Sony Music Entertainment. You'll see which job titles and wage levels they've certified, giving you a realistic benchmark before salary negotiations and a signal of which teams actively seek H-1B candidates.
Use Migrate Mate to find verified sponsorship roles
Filter for Sony Music Entertainment on Migrate Mate to see roles tied to confirmed H-1B LCA filing history. This cuts out job listings where sponsorship isn't guaranteed, so you spend your applications on positions where the hiring infrastructure for H-1B already exists.
Clarify sponsorship intent before final interviews
Sony Music's HR teams may not volunteer H-1B details unprompted. Ask directly whether the role budget includes filing fees and whether they've sponsored the specific position before. Waiting until an offer stage to surface this wastes time if the team has no H-1B precedent for that role.
Align your profile with O*NET specialty occupation standards
Review the O*NET profile for your target role at Sony Music and confirm the job zone and education requirements match your credentials. USCIS adjudicators use this framework when evaluating whether a music industry position qualifies as a specialty occupation under H-1B rules.
Build your cap-subject timeline around Sony's hiring cycle
H-1B cap registration opens in March for an October start date. Sony Music tends to finalize creative and digital hires in Q1, which aligns with cap registration. Start your job search by November to allow time for offer letters and employer registration before the USCIS window closes.
Sony Music Entertainment H-1B Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Sony Music Entertainment sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Sony Music Entertainment sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying roles. Sponsorship is concentrated in positions that meet the specialty occupation standard, meaning roles requiring a specific bachelor's degree or higher. Not every open position includes sponsorship, so confirming with the hiring team before advancing in the process is essential.
Which roles at Sony Music Entertainment typically receive H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B sponsorship at Sony Music Entertainment is most common in analytically or technically specialized roles, including digital marketing, data analytics, legal and business affairs, finance, and technology. Creative generalist roles are less likely to qualify under USCIS's specialty occupation definition, since they often don't require a degree in a specific field.
How do I confirm whether a specific Sony Music job includes H-1B sponsorship?
Job postings from Sony Music don't always specify visa sponsorship. Use Migrate Mate to identify Sony Music roles tied to confirmed LCA filing history, which indicates active H-1B sponsorship infrastructure. You can also cross-reference the OFLC Wage Search for past Labor Condition Applications filed under Sony Music Entertainment by job title.
How do I navigate the H-1B filing process once Sony Music offers me a role?
Once you receive an offer, Sony Music's HR or immigration counsel will file a Labor Condition Application with DOL and then submit the H-1B petition to USCIS. If you're cap-subject, the petition must be filed in April for an October start. Confirm early whether Sony uses premium processing, which reduces the USCIS adjudication window significantly.
What timeline should I expect for H-1B sponsorship at Sony Music Entertainment?
For cap-subject candidates, the H-1B process runs roughly six to eight months from registration to work authorization start, with the lottery in March and employment beginning October 1. Cap-exempt scenarios, such as prior H-1B holders changing employers, can move faster. USCIS premium processing can reduce the petition review period to a few weeks once filed.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B jobs at Sony Music Entertainment?
H-1B employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is determined when they file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, and ensures international hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
