INTRODUCTION
We're building a new healthcare clearinghouse. In the healthcare sector, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) requires that all insurance payers exchange transactions such as claims, eligibility checks, prior authorizations, and remittances using a standardized EDI format called X12 HIPAA. A small group of legacy clearinghouses process the majority of these transactions, offering consolidated connectivity to carriers and providers.
Stedi is the world's only programmable healthcare clearinghouse. By offering modern API interfaces alongside traditional real-time and batch EDI processes, we enable both healthcare technology businesses and established players to exchange mission-critical transactions. Our clearinghouse product and customer-first approach have set us apart. Stedi was ranked by Ramp as one of the fastest-growing SaaS vendors.
Stedi has lightning in a bottle: engineers and designers shipping products week in and week out; a lean business team supporting the company’s infrastructure; passion for automation and eliminating toil; $142 million in funding from top investors like Stripe, Addition, USV, Bloomberg Beta, First Round Capital, and more.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Product Manager to own one of our products end-to-end. You will shape product requirements, define strategy, drive prioritization, and partner closely with engineering to execute the roadmap.
This role requires someone who can thrive in ambiguity, deeply understand revenue cycle workflows, translate complex payer and customer requirements into actionable product direction, and relentlessly pursue performance, accuracy, and reliability in a real-time transaction environment.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Own the product roadmap for Stedi’s Eligibility or Insurance Discovery offering.
- Contribute to a team that ships day in and day out – see our blog and changelog.
- Define and drive strategy for real-time eligibility checks, benefit normalization, payer connectivity, and benefit normalization.
- Report directly to the CEO and work closely with the Head of Engineering to shape product direction.
- Be the primary author of complex, technical product and business documents (e.g., PR/FAQs, BRDs, Linear tickets).
- Partner with our design team to develop mockups and wireframes, and our engineering team to prioritize and deliver features.
- Collaborate with engineering to prioritize and ship features that improve speed, reliability, and data quality.
- Measure product performance to track adoption and identify areas of investment. Own metrics related to product adoption/engagement.
- Support and provide expertise on other product initiatives, helping to advance Stedi’s overall product suite.
WHO YOU ARE
- Substantial product management experience at a healthcare software company, with a track record of delivering successfully adopted products (B2B products delivered via API are a major plus).
- 2+ years working in healthcare revenue cycle management, particularly eligibility verification workflows is strongly preferred.
- Either Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or another technical field, or professional experience writing code are strongly preferred.
- Have an established, demonstrable track record of driving product adoption and managing a product roadmap.
- Ability to translate complex customer requirements to a highly technical audience.
- Highly curious; not satisfied with getting something to work, you want to understand why it works and how to make it high quality.
- Thrive in an ambiguous environment with a drive to ship early and often.
We’ve been made aware of individuals impersonating the Stedi recruiting team. Please note:
- All official communication about roles at Stedi will only come from an @stedi.com email address.
- If you’re unsure whether a message is legitimate or have any concerns, feel free to contact us directly at careers@stedi.com.
We appreciate your attention to this and your interest in joining Stedi.

Job Roles at Stedi
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Stedi H-1B Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target roles that align with H-1B specialty occupation requirements
Stedi focuses its H-1B sponsorship on technical positions requiring specialized knowledge. Prioritize software engineering, backend infrastructure, and product-focused roles where a degree in computer science or a related field is a genuine job requirement, not just a preference.
Demonstrate deep technical expertise early in your application
Technology companies like Stedi evaluate H-1B candidates rigorously because sponsorship involves real legal and financial commitment. Lead with specific technical skills and measurable contributions in your resume and cover letter to signal you meet the specialty occupation bar.
Understand the H-1B cap timeline before you apply
H-1B registration opens in March each year for an October 1 start date. If Stedi extends you an offer, confirm early whether they plan to file in the next registration cycle so you can plan your timeline and current status accordingly.
Research Stedi's verified sponsorship history before investing time
Because Stedi sponsors selectively, confirm their active sponsorship posture before applying. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, saving you from pursuing roles at companies that no longer file H-1B petitions.
Engage Stedi's hiring team directly about H-1B support
Smaller Technology & Software companies sometimes handle H-1B sponsorship case by case. Asking directly during the recruiter screen whether they work with an immigration attorney on H-1B filings signals professionalism and helps you assess their process maturity early.
Prepare thoroughly for technical interviews, not just immigration questions
At technology-focused companies like Stedi, the hiring decision comes down to technical fit first. The strongest H-1B candidates remove any hesitation around sponsorship by making themselves the obvious choice on merit before immigration costs even enter the conversation.

Get Access To All JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Stedi sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Stedi sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying roles in its Technology & Software operations. Sponsorship is selective and concentrated in technical positions that meet the specialty occupation standard. Candidates should confirm sponsorship availability directly with Stedi's recruiting team during the hiring process, as the company evaluates each case individually.
Which roles at Stedi are most likely to receive H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B sponsorship at Stedi is most commonly associated with software engineering and technical product roles where a specialized degree is a genuine requirement. Positions in backend engineering, infrastructure, and developer-facing product work align most closely with the specialty occupation standard the H-1B requires. Business operations and non-technical support roles are less commonly sponsored.
How do I navigate the H-1B application process at Stedi?
Once Stedi extends an offer and confirms sponsorship, the company's immigration counsel files a Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor, then submits Form I-129 to USCIS. Your role is to provide documentation of your qualifications and degree. The process is employer-driven, so staying responsive to requests from Stedi's legal team keeps the timeline on track.
How long does the H-1B sponsorship process take at Stedi?
The standard H-1B timeline runs from the March registration window to an October 1 start date, a roughly six-month process after selection in the lottery. If Stedi files with premium processing, USCIS adjudicates the petition within a shorter window. Candidates already in valid H-1B status at another employer can transfer to Stedi faster through H-1B portability.
How do I find and apply for H-1B sponsored jobs at Stedi?
Search Stedi's careers page directly for open technical roles, then confirm sponsorship availability with the recruiter. Migrate Mate can help you identify Stedi's sponsorship history alongside other verified H-1B sponsors in the Technology & Software space, so you can focus your job search on companies with a documented track record of filing H-1B petitions.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B jobs at Stedi?
H-1B employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is determined when they file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, and ensures international hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
