About The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Associate, Business Operations & Strategy to be a strategic partner to our COO and the operational backbone of the company’s rhythm of business. You'll work directly with the COO and functional leaders across Customer Support, People, and Finance to drive execution on the highest-priority cross-functional initiatives. This isn’t a passive coordinator role. You’ll drive the operating cadence end-to-end — designing forums, preparing the context, driving follow-through, and making sure leadership’s time and attention are focused on the highest-leverage decisions. You'll also own a portfolio of strategic projects, from company planning to 0→1 initiatives. You’ll report to the Head of BizOps & Strategy and partner closely with the COO, Finance, People and other cross-functional leadership.
What You’ll Own
Rhythm of Business & COO Effectiveness:
- Drive the company’s operating cadence — weekly leadership syncs, monthly business reviews, quarterly planning cycles, and annual offsites — ensuring each forum has clear purpose, the right participants, and well-prepared context
- Act as the COO’s strategic thought partner: shape agenda priorities, pre-read materials, and follow-through on decisions and action items so nothing falls through the cracks
- Build the connective tissue between the COO and functional leaders — maintain visibility into work stream progress, surface blockers early, and drive cross-functional accountability
Insights & Business Performance:
- Drive the company’s performance dashboard — interpret and curate the metrics and narrative that give leadership a clear, honest read on the business each week and month
- Partner with Finance and Data to develop models, forecasts, and scenarios that inform goal-setting and resource allocation
- Translate business performance data into crisp, actionable insights for the COO, leadership team, and board
Special Projects:
- Own coordination and end-to-end execution for the COO's highest-priority strategic initiatives, track milestones, hold teams accountable, and drive outcomes across Customer Support, People, and Finance
- Answer hard strategic questions: break down ambiguous problems, structure the analysis, and deliver a clear recommendation
- Take on 0→1 projects where the path isn't defined yet: stand up new processes, run pilots, and build the infrastructure that didn't exist before you got here
What You’ll Need
You have:
- 5+ years at a top-tier consulting firm or high-growth tech company in strategy, operations, or chief of staff roles
- Experience building and running operating cadences — business reviews, planning cycles, executive forums — at a fast-moving company
- Worked directly with a COO, CEO, or C-suite executive and know how to manage up, anticipate needs, and communicate with precision
- Track record of driving cross-functional alignment and accountability on complex, ambiguous initiatives
- Comfort with quantitative analysis and financial modeling (Excel/Google Sheets) to support strategic decisions
You’re Energized By
- Building the operating infrastructure that makes a leadership team more effective
- Being the person who makes things happen, not just recommends them
- Working across every part of the business at once
Additional Notes
- Applicants must be eligible to work in the US.
- This is an in person role working at our NYC/ CAM office
Compensation
The annual salary range for this role is $150K – $180K + equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision, and 401k)
Perks & Benefits
- Company Equity Package
- 401(k) with 3% Employer Match & Roth 401(k)
- Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance (PPO w/ HSA & FSA options)
- 11 Paid Holidays + Unlimited PTO & Sick Time
- 16 Weeks of Paid Parental Leave
- Creative Education Stipend
- Generous Commuter Allowance
- In-Office Lunch (5 days per week)

Target engineering and AI roles first
Suno's H-1B sponsorship is concentrated in technical disciplines like software engineering and machine learning. Focus your application on roles that align with their AI-driven product, where specialty occupation requirements are clearest and sponsorship is most consistently offered.
Understand the specialty occupation standard
H-1B approval requires your role to qualify as a specialty occupation. At a technology company like Suno, this means demonstrating your position requires at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field directly related to the job duties.
Engage with Suno's technical community early
Suno operates at the intersection of AI and creative technology. Contributing to relevant open-source projects, publishing technical writing, or engaging with their product publicly can help you stand out before applying for a sponsored role.
Confirm sponsorship intent before applying
Not every open role at a technology company comes with H-1B sponsorship. Review job postings carefully for sponsorship language, and use Migrate Mate, which surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history before investing time in an application.
Prepare for the H-1B cap lottery timeline
If you need a new H-1B cap-subject petition, Suno would file in March for an October start date. Factor this timeline into your job search so you and your prospective employer have aligned expectations around when you can legally begin work.
Highlight degree-to-role alignment in your application
Immigration attorneys reviewing your H-1B petition will scrutinize whether your degree matches the job. At a Technology and Software company like Suno, clearly connecting your academic background to the specific technical responsibilities of the role strengthens the petition significantly.
Suno H-1B Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Suno sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Suno sponsors H-1B visas. As an AI technology company, Suno recruits internationally for specialized technical talent and has a history of supporting H-1B sponsorship for qualifying roles. Sponsorship is most commonly associated with software engineering and machine learning positions rather than non-technical or generalist roles.
Which roles at Suno are most likely to receive H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B sponsorship at Suno is primarily associated with technical roles in software engineering, machine learning, and AI research. These positions align most clearly with the specialty occupation standard the H-1B requires. Business, marketing, or administrative roles are less likely to qualify, though it depends on the specific job duties and degree requirements.
How do I apply for a job at Suno with H-1B sponsorship?
Apply directly through Suno's careers page and confirm sponsorship availability in the job posting or during early recruiter conversations. Migrate Mate can help you identify which Suno roles have a verified sponsorship history so you avoid applying to positions where H-1B support is uncertain. Once hired, Suno's legal team typically manages the petition filing process.
How do I know when to expect H-1B approval if I get an offer from Suno?
Timeline depends on your current visa status. If you need a new cap-subject H-1B, Suno would register you in the March lottery for an October 1 start date, meaning you could be waiting up to six or more months after your offer. If you already hold H-1B status from another employer, Suno can file a transfer petition and you may start sooner.
What should I do to improve my chances of H-1B sponsorship at Suno?
Make the degree-to-role connection explicit throughout your application. Suno operates in a narrow technical domain, so demonstrating that your academic background directly supports the work you'd be doing strengthens both your candidacy and the eventual H-1B petition. Arriving at interviews with a clear understanding of Suno's AI product also signals the kind of specialized knowledge that supports specialty occupation classification.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B jobs at Suno?
H-1B employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is determined when they file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, and ensures international hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
