Align your credentials to specialty occupation standards
H-1B eligibility for Manufacturing roles requires a direct connection between your degree field and the specific position. A chemical engineering or materials science background maps cleanly to Henkel's process and formulation roles in ways a general engineering degree may not.
Target Henkel sites with active production operations
Henkel's U.S. Manufacturing footprint spans adhesive and consumer goods facilities across multiple states. Roles tied to active production lines are more likely to carry sponsorship approval than corporate or support functions, so filter your search by operational plant locations.
Understand where PERM fits your long-term path
Henkel sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards for Manufacturing professionals, which requires a DOL PERM labor certification before USCIS filing. The full process typically runs two to four years, so raise the topic with your recruiter during the offer stage, not after you've started.
Use Migrate Mate to find open Manufacturing roles at Henkel
Henkel posts Manufacturing positions across multiple job boards, making it hard to filter for roles that explicitly support sponsorship. Migrate Mate aggregates these openings and surfaces which positions come with verified sponsorship support, saving you time in the search.
Clarify LCA prevailing wage coverage before accepting an offer
Before Henkel can file your H-1B petition with USCIS, it must obtain a certified Labor Condition Application from DOL confirming your offered wage meets the prevailing rate for your role and work location. Ask HR which wage level your position is classified at during negotiations.

Find Manufacturing at Henkel JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Henkel sponsor H-1B visas for Manufacturing roles?
Yes, Henkel sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying Manufacturing positions. Roles in process engineering, quality, and production management are among those that have historically supported sponsorship. To qualify, the position must meet the specialty occupation standard, which typically requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a directly related field such as chemical engineering or materials science.
How do I apply for Manufacturing jobs at Henkel?
Applications go through Henkel's careers portal, where Manufacturing roles are listed by function and location. You can also find Henkel's open Manufacturing positions on Migrate Mate, which filters specifically for roles that support visa sponsorship. When applying, tailor your resume to the technical requirements of the role and note your work authorization status clearly in the application.
Which visa types does Henkel commonly use for Manufacturing roles?
Henkel uses H-1B for specialty occupation Manufacturing hires, F-1 OPT and CPT for students and recent graduates, TN for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories, and J-1 for exchange visitors in certain programs. For longer-term employees, Henkel also pursues EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship through the PERM labor certification process at the DOL.
What qualifications does Henkel expect for sponsored Manufacturing roles?
Most sponsored Manufacturing positions at Henkel require a bachelor's degree or higher in chemical engineering, materials science, industrial engineering, or a closely related field. Hands-on experience with process optimization, quality systems, or formulation work in a chemicals or consumer goods environment strengthens your candidacy. Roles involving adhesive or coating technologies often carry additional technical depth requirements.
How do I time my H-1B filing if I receive a Manufacturing offer from Henkel?
If you're on F-1 OPT, Henkel must file your H-1B petition during the April registration window for an October 1 start date. USCIS selects registrations through a lottery before petitions are filed. Your OPT authorization must remain valid through October 1, or you'll need a gap-coverage option such as a STEM OPT extension if you're eligible.
