Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Communications Jobs at JPMorganChase Jobs
Tailor your portfolio to financial communications
JPMorganChase prioritizes Communications candidates who can demonstrate experience in regulated industries. Highlight any work involving earnings announcements, regulatory disclosures, or crisis communications for financial or similarly complex organizations before you apply.
Target roles with clear specialty occupation footing
H-1B eligibility requires your role to qualify as a specialty occupation under USCIS standards. Communications titles like Corporate Communications Manager or Investor Relations Specialist tend to have stronger degree-field alignment than generalist PR roles, so focus your search there.
Find open Communications roles through Migrate Mate
Browse verified Communications openings at JPMorganChase filtered by visa sponsorship type on Migrate Mate. You'll see which roles align with H-1B, E-3, or Green Card pathways before you invest time in a full application.
Confirm LCA filing before accepting an offer
Before your H-1B or E-3 can be filed, JPMorganChase must submit a Labor Condition Application to the DOL certifying your offered wage meets prevailing wage levels. Ask your recruiter where that step sits in their onboarding timeline so there are no delays at the start date.
Prepare for a structured interview process
JPMorganChase's Communications interviews typically include writing exercises and scenario-based questions about stakeholder management under pressure. Have published work samples or internal campaign briefs ready, and be specific about audience segmentation and message strategy in your answers.
Plan Green Card timing around business unit headcount
EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship at large financial institutions often depends on headcount approvals at the business line level. Raise your long-term visa intent early in the offer stage so your hiring manager can flag PERM sponsorship to HR before your start date.

Find Communications at JPMorganChase JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does JPMorganChase sponsor H-1B visas for Communications roles?
Yes, JPMorganChase sponsors H-1B visas for Communications positions. The company participates in the annual H-1B lottery, so timing your application cycle matters. Communications roles at the specialist or manager level tend to have the clearest specialty occupation documentation, which strengthens the USCIS petition. If you're already in H-1B status with another employer, a transfer to JPMorganChase is also possible.
How do I apply for Communications jobs at JPMorganChase?
Applications go through JPMorganChase's careers portal, where Communications roles are listed by business line, such as Corporate and Investment Bank or Asset and Wealth Management. Each posting specifies the seniority level and function. To filter specifically for roles open to visa sponsorship, Migrate Mate surfaces verified JPMorganChase Communications openings with sponsorship details already attached, saving you time on manual screening.
Which visa types does JPMorganChase commonly use for Communications professionals?
JPMorganChase sponsors H-1B and H-1B1 visas for most Communications hires requiring work authorization. Australian citizens are eligible for the E-3 visa, which has no lottery and a faster timeline than the H-1B. For longer-term permanent residence, the firm also files EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card petitions through PERM for qualifying employees, typically after an initial period in the role.
What qualifications does JPMorganChase expect for Communications roles?
Most Communications positions at JPMorganChase require a bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field. Roles focused on investor relations or regulatory affairs may also value finance or economics coursework. Beyond credentials, JPMorganChase places weight on demonstrated experience managing executive communications or media strategy in a fast-moving, high-scrutiny environment, particularly within financial services or another regulated industry.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a JPMorganChase Communications offer?
For H-1B cap-subject petitions, USCIS typically takes three to five months for standard processing after an October 1 start date, with premium processing reducing that to 15 business days. E-3 visas for Australian citizens can move faster since there's no lottery. PERM labor certification for Green Card sponsorship adds a separate multi-month track that runs parallel to your employment, not after it.
