Frame your credentials around financial services partnerships
JPMorganChase evaluates Partnerships Lead candidates on deal structuring, fintech or enterprise relationships, and cross-functional execution. Translate your experience into outcomes tied to revenue, product integrations, or market expansion before your first conversation with a recruiter.
Target JPMorganChase divisions with active partnership mandates
Chase's commercial banking, payments, and asset management divisions regularly build external partner ecosystems. Applying to roles tied to these business lines puts you in front of hiring managers with stronger budget authority and more pressing timelines for headcount.
Understand which visa categories cover this role
Partnerships Lead positions typically qualify as specialty occupations under H-1B, and JPMorganChase also files E-3 petitions for Australian nationals and H-1B1 visa petitions for Singaporean and Chilean nationals. Knowing which category applies to you helps you ask the right questions during offer negotiation.
Get your Labor Condition Application timing right
Before JPMorganChase can file your H-1B petition with USCIS, their legal team must first obtain a certified LCA from DOL. This step adds at least a week to the pre-filing process, so factor it into your start date discussion with the hiring team.
Use Migrate Mate to find open Partnerships Lead roles at JPMorganChase
Sponsoring employers and specific roles can be hard to surface through general job boards. Migrate Mate filters by visa type and employer, so you can identify live Partnerships Lead openings at JPMorganChase that are tied to active sponsorship history.
Negotiate your start date around H-1B cap deadlines
If you're cap-subject, USCIS only accepts H-1B registrations in March for an October 1 start. If JPMorganChase extends an offer outside that window, clarify whether cap-exempt status through a prior employer applies or whether you need to wait for the next registration cycle.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does JPMorganChase sponsor H-1B visas for Partnerships Leads?
Yes, JPMorganChase sponsors H-1B visas for Partnerships Lead roles. The position typically meets the specialty occupation standard because it requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field such as business, finance, or a related discipline. JPMorganChase has legal infrastructure in place to handle petitions, LCA filings with DOL, and USCIS submissions for this function.
Which visa types does JPMorganChase commonly use for Partnerships Lead roles?
JPMorganChase files petitions across several work visa categories for roles at this level. H-1B is the most widely used for nationals not covered by bilateral agreements. Australian citizens can pursue the E-3 visa, which has no lottery and a separate annual allocation. Singaporean and Chilean nationals may qualify for the H-1B1 visa. For candidates on a longer timeline, JPMorganChase also supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship.
What qualifications does JPMorganChase expect for a Partnerships Lead position?
JPMorganChase typically expects several years of experience managing strategic or commercial partnerships, ideally in financial services, fintech, or enterprise technology. A bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field is standard. Candidates who can demonstrate ownership of partner pipeline development, contract negotiation, and cross-functional coordination tend to advance further in the process.
How do I apply for Partnerships Lead jobs at JPMorganChase?
You can browse open Partnerships Lead positions at JPMorganChase through Migrate Mate, which filters roles by visa sponsorship history so you can confirm the position aligns with your work authorization needs before applying. When applying directly through JPMorganChase's careers portal, tailor your application to the specific business line, since hiring for this role varies across divisions including commercial banking, payments, and asset management.
How do I estimate the timeline from offer to work authorization at JPMorganChase?
If you're filing a new H-1B petition, JPMorganChase's legal team needs to certify an LCA with DOL before submitting to USCIS, which typically adds one to two weeks before the petition is filed. Standard USCIS adjudication runs three to five months, though premium processing reduces that to roughly two weeks. E-3 and H-1B1 visa applicants processing at a consulate abroad can often get a visa stamp within a few weeks of the employer completing their documents.
