Tailor your resume to KPMG's client-facing language
KPMG's Customer Service roles emphasize client relationship management within accounting and advisory contexts. Frame your experience around client escalation handling, service-level compliance, and cross-functional coordination with audit or tax teams, not just general support metrics.
Confirm the role qualifies as a specialty occupation
H-1B eligibility requires the position to meet USCIS's specialty occupation standard. For Customer Service roles at KPMG, this typically means demonstrating the job requires at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field like business administration, communications, or a related discipline.
Target KPMG offices in high-sponsorship markets
KPMG's larger metro offices, particularly in New York, Chicago, and Atlanta, handle heavier client service volumes and tend to hire more frequently for Customer Service functions. Concentrating your applications on these locations improves your chances of landing a role with active sponsorship support.
Use Migrate Mate to find open Customer Service roles at KPMG
KPMG posts Customer Service openings across multiple channels, and roles with sponsorship can close quickly. Search Migrate Mate to filter specifically for KPMG positions that support visa sponsorship, so you're not spending time on listings that won't lead to a petition.
Understand KPMG's H-1B timeline before accepting an offer
If you're on OPT, confirm whether your start date aligns with KPMG's H-1B filing window. Cap-subject H-1B petitions must be filed by April 1 for an October 1 start. Failing to align offer timing with the registration period can leave you in a gap with no work authorization.
Ask HR about E-3 eligibility if you hold Australian citizenship
KPMG sponsors E-3 visas for Australian nationals, and the E-3 has no lottery or annual cap. During offer negotiations, confirm with KPMG's immigration team whether your Customer Service role qualifies, since E-3 requires an approved Labor Condition Application from DOL before the visa interview.

Find Customer Service at KPMG JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does KPMG sponsor H-1B visas for Customer Service?
Yes, KPMG sponsors H-1B visas for Customer Service roles where the position meets USCIS's specialty occupation requirement. That typically means the job requires at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field. If you're currently on OPT, KPMG's immigration team will coordinate the H-1B petition timeline with your work authorization status.
How do I apply for Customer Service jobs at KPMG?
Applications go through KPMG's careers portal at kpmg.com/us/en/careers.html. Search by job function and filter for Customer Service or client service roles. Tailor your resume to reflect KPMG's advisory environment, emphasizing client relationship skills and cross-team coordination. You can also browse open KPMG Customer Service roles filtered by visa sponsorship on Migrate Mate.
Which visa types does KPMG commonly use for Customer Service roles?
KPMG sponsors H-1B visas for most international hires in Customer Service. Australian citizens can also pursue the E-3 visa, which requires a DOL Labor Condition Application but has no annual cap or lottery. For candidates pursuing permanent residence, KPMG has sponsored Green Cards through the EB-2 and EB-3 employment-based immigrant visa categories.
What qualifications does KPMG expect for Customer Service roles?
KPMG typically looks for a bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field, combined with experience in professional services or client-facing environments. Familiarity with audit, tax, or advisory workflows is a differentiator. Roles that support H-1B sponsorship generally require the degree to directly correspond to the job's specialty occupation classification.
How do I understand the visa filing timeline for a KPMG Customer Service offer?
For cap-subject H-1B roles, KPMG must register in the USCIS lottery each March, with employment starting no earlier than October 1. If you're on F-1 OPT, your 60-day grace period and any STEM OPT extension affect how much buffer you have. Aligning your offer acceptance and start date with these windows is a conversation to have with KPMG's immigration team early in the process.
