Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Customer Support Jobs at Legacy Health Jobs
Earn a Healthcare-Relevant Customer Support Credential
Certifications in medical billing, healthcare administration, or HIPAA compliance signal that you understand the regulatory environment Legacy Health operates in. These credentials distinguish your application from general customer service candidates and directly support specialty occupation arguments for H-1B filings.
Search Legacy Health Openings by Department Function
Legacy Health posts Customer Support roles across patient access, revenue cycle, and clinical coordination. Filter by department rather than job title alone. Use Migrate Mate to surface Legacy Health listings filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility so you only apply to positions actively open to international candidates.
Confirm USCIS-Compliant Specialty Occupation Framing Early
Customer Support roles in healthcare can qualify as specialty occupations if the position requires a degree in health information management, nursing, or a related field. Ask the recruiter directly whether the role description is written to meet USCIS specialty occupation standards before investing time in the process.
Time Your OPT Application Around Legacy Health Hiring Cycles
Legacy Health tends to hire for patient-facing support roles on a rolling basis. File your OPT application with USCIS at least 90 days before your program end date so your work authorization is active when an offer arrives. A gap in authorization status can stall an otherwise completed offer.
Request Written Confirmation of Sponsorship Scope
Before accepting an offer, get written confirmation of which visa types Legacy Health will sponsor for your specific role. Some healthcare employers sponsor H-1B for clinical roles but restrict sponsorship for support functions. Clarifying this before the offer stage avoids delays once USCIS filing timelines begin.
Prepare Your DOL Labor Condition Application Documentation Early
Your employer files the Labor Condition Application with the DOL before submitting your H-1B petition. Provide accurate employment start dates, job location, and wage details to HR as early as possible. Errors in LCA data are a leading cause of processing delays in healthcare employer filings.

Find Customer Support at Legacy Health JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Legacy Health sponsor H-1B visas for Customer Supports?
Legacy Health has sponsored H-1B visas for roles in its workforce, including support functions tied to patient access and healthcare administration. Sponsorship for a specific Customer Support role depends on whether the position qualifies as a specialty occupation under USCIS standards, meaning it requires a relevant bachelor's degree or higher. Confirm this directly with the recruiter during the interview process.
How do I apply for Customer Support jobs at Legacy Health?
Applications go through Legacy Health's careers portal, where positions are listed by department and location. You can also browse Customer Support openings at Legacy Health that are open to visa sponsorship through Migrate Mate, which filters specifically for roles compatible with international candidates. When applying, tailor your resume to reflect healthcare-specific support experience such as patient communication, EHR system use, or insurance verification.
Which visa types are commonly used for Customer Support roles at Legacy Health?
H-1B is the most common work visa for full-time Customer Support roles requiring a degree in a relevant field. F-1 students completing healthcare-related programs can work under OPT or CPT before transitioning. TN visas are available for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying occupations, and J-1 exchange visitors in eligible programs may also be sponsored depending on the role structure.
What qualifications does Legacy Health expect for Customer Support positions?
Most Customer Support roles at Legacy Health expect familiarity with electronic health record systems, insurance authorization workflows, or patient scheduling. A degree in health information management, healthcare administration, or a related field strengthens both your candidacy and any future visa petition. Fluency in medical terminology and experience navigating HIPAA-regulated communication environments are practical differentiators in the applicant pool.
How do I plan my timeline when pursuing an H-1B through Legacy Health?
H-1B cap-subject petitions are filed in April for an October 1 start date, meaning you need an offer and a completed Labor Condition Application certified by the DOL before your employer can register you with USCIS. Build at least 60 to 90 days into your planning before the April registration window. If you're already in the U.S. on OPT, your STEM extension or standard OPT must remain valid through the transition.
