About the role
LifeMD is looking for a VP of Data & Analytics to own our data platform end to end and lead the analytics engineering team that powers decisions across finance, marketing, and operations. This is a senior technical leadership role for someone who is equally comfortable shaping a dbt architecture, partnering with our Chief Accounting Officer on revenue recognition, and presenting insights to the executive team.
You will sit at the intersection of engineering precision and business strategy. The data our team produces feeds earnings support, board materials, financial forecasts, and operational dashboards — accuracy and reliability are non-negotiable. At the same time, you will drive how we use AI to surface insights faster and build internal tooling that amplifies the team’s output.
What You Will Own
Data Platform
You will own the full analytics stack: Fivetran and custom Python ingestions, dbt for transformation, BigQuery as the warehouse, and Hex and Posit Connect for reporting and analytics applications. The stack runs on GCP. You are accountable for its reliability, cost, governance, and evolution.
Team Leadership
You will manage a small team of analytics engineers and analysts organized by business function across finance, marketing, and operations. The work is analytics-engineering-forward — producing data that many downstream stakeholders depend on. You will hire, develop, and shape the team as the function matures.
Revenue Recognition
LifeMD operates across subscription, insurance, and direct-pay billing systems. A senior analytics engineer manages the day-to-day process; you are accountable for its accuracy, auditability, and architecture. You will partner closely with the Chief Accounting Officer and represent the data function directly to external auditors.
Financial Modeling & FP&A Support
You will contribute directly to financial modeling — cohort-based subscription forecasting, LTV, and budget vs. actual analysis. You will ensure FP&A always has clean, timely, trusted data to build on, and serve as a technical partner to the finance function.
AI Analytics Platform
You will maintain our in-house AI analytics platform as a production service, develop new functionality using AI-driven tools, and actively find new ways to surface insights with AI as part of the analytical toolkit.
Engineering Partnership
You will work closely with our engineering teams to inform data architecture decisions that align with analytics and reporting objectives.
Executive Partnership
You will work directly with the executive team to produce the data that supports strategy — KPI dashboards, board materials, earnings support, and ad-hoc analysis — and to make recommendations based on it.
Requirements
SQL & dbt Architecture. You write and review SQL at a senior level and have built or materially evolved a data platform on dbt and a cloud warehouse. You make architectural decisions about modeling, incrementality, testing, and governance.
GCP Experience. You have worked on GCP in production, including BigQuery and surrounding services such as GCS, Cloud Run, and Cloud Scheduler.
Finance & Revenue Recognition. You have owned or partnered closely on revenue recognition at a public company, and have contributed to financial modeling such as cohort forecasting, LTV, and unit economics. You can architect auditable data models and represent the data function credibly to accounting, auditors, and finance leadership.
Python Fluency. You are comfortable in Python and can read and modify production code. You can maintain and extend data systems beyond the warehouse, including API integrations, scheduled jobs, and cloud infrastructure.
AI Fluency. You have built internal tooling that uses LLMs. You use Claude Code, Cursor, or another AI-driven IDE for development and actively shape how AI gets woven into your team’s workflows.
Data Engineering Leadership. You have managed small data or analytics engineering teams where the work sits closer to engineering than to BI, and where reliability matters because many stakeholders depend on the output. You hire, develop, and retain technical talent and coach individual contributors.

Target roles in clinical and health technology operations
LifeMD's sponsorship activity centers on specialized healthcare and medical services functions. Focus your search on roles in clinical operations, health informatics, or digital health technology, where international candidates with niche expertise are most likely to qualify for sponsored positions.
Understand that LifeMD sponsors Green Card pathways, not H-1B
LifeMD's visa sponsorship history leans toward permanent residence pathways rather than H-1B. If you need immediate work authorization, clarify the sponsorship type early in conversations with recruiters to avoid investing time in an application that doesn't match your immigration timeline.
Prepare for a longer immigration timeline
Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 or EB-3 categories involves multi-year timelines, especially for applicants from India. Go in with realistic expectations and, if possible, secure bridge work authorization through OPT or another nonimmigrant status while your case progresses.
Emphasize specialized credentials in healthcare or health tech
LifeMD operates in a regulated industry where niche qualifications matter. Highlighting advanced degrees, clinical certifications, or deep experience in digital health platforms strengthens the specialty occupation argument needed to support an employment-based Green Card petition.
Ask explicitly about the PERM labor certification process
EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship requires PERM labor certification, which takes time and employer commitment. Raise this early in the hiring process to confirm LifeMD is willing to initiate PERM for your role, not just offer a vague promise of future sponsorship.
Use Migrate Mate to find verified sponsoring employers in telehealth
Healthcare sponsors can be hard to identify without reliable data. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you focus your applications on telehealth and digital health companies with a confirmed track record like LifeMD.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does LifeMD sponsor H-1B visas?
Based on available sponsorship data, LifeMD does not have a significant H-1B visa sponsorship history. Its sponsorship activity has focused on employment-based Green Card pathways, specifically EB-2 and EB-3 categories. If you require H-1B sponsorship to maintain or obtain work authorization, you should confirm directly with LifeMD's recruiting team whether that option is available for your specific role.
What visa types does LifeMD sponsor?
LifeMD sponsors employment-based permanent residence through the EB-2 and EB-3 categories. These pathways are designed for professionals in specialty occupations or with advanced degrees. Unlike some employers, LifeMD's sponsorship track record points toward long-term immigration support rather than temporary work visa categories, so candidates should plan their immigration strategy accordingly.
Which roles at LifeMD are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
LifeMD operates in healthcare and digital health services, so sponsorship is most likely for specialized roles in clinical operations, health informatics, medical affairs, and health technology. Positions requiring specific professional credentials or advanced degrees in healthcare-related fields tend to be the strongest candidates for employment-based Green Card support through EB-2 or EB-3 pathways.
How do I apply for a sponsored role at LifeMD?
Start by identifying open roles that align with your healthcare or health technology background. When you reach the interview stage, ask the recruiter directly whether the position is eligible for Green Card sponsorship and at what point in the process LifeMD initiates the PERM labor certification. Migrate Mate makes it easier to find and filter roles at verified sponsors like LifeMD so you can prioritize companies with a real sponsorship track record from the start.
How long does the Green Card sponsorship process take at a company like LifeMD?
Employment-based Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 or EB-3 typically involves several stages: PERM labor certification with the Department of Labor, an I-140 immigrant petition with USCIS, and a final adjustment of status or consular processing step. The full process can range from two to five years or longer depending on your country of birth and your priority date, making early planning essential for anyone targeting this pathway.
