Frame your technical fluency for graph databases
Neo4j's Business Development roles require you to articulate graph database value to enterprise buyers. Before applying, build working knowledge of Neo4j's product and use cases so your resume and interviews signal domain credibility alongside sales or BD experience.
Target roles in Neo4j's enterprise segment
Neo4j's open Business Development positions span territory and account-focused work. Roles tied to named enterprise accounts or strategic partnerships carry clearer scope and tend to move faster through internal approval workflows, which matters when visa sponsorship timelines are part of your planning.
Clarify OPT cap-gap coverage before your start date
If you're on F-1 OPT and your work authorization expires before an H-1B takes effect on October 1, confirm with Neo4j's HR team that your offer accounts for the cap-gap period. USCIS allows continued work authorization during cap-gap if your H-1B petition is timely filed.
Ask about PERM eligibility during the offer stage
EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship through PERM requires DOL-defined recruitment steps and can take one to three years depending on your priority date and country of birth. Raise this in offer negotiations, not after you've joined, so timelines align with your long-term plans.
Verify TN eligibility if you're Canadian or Mexican
TN status covers specific professional categories under the USMCA. Business Development titles at Neo4j sometimes fall under Management Consultant or Computer Systems Analyst depending on role scope. Confirm with an immigration attorney that your actual job duties satisfy the TN category before relying on this pathway.

Business Development openings at Neo4j vary by region and product focus and aren't always easy to track. Use Migrate Mate to filter Neo4j's current job listings by visa sponsorship type so you're targeting positions already flagged for sponsorship-eligible candidates.

Find Business Development at Neo4j JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Neo4j sponsor H-1B visas for Business Developments?
Neo4j's visa sponsorship activity for Business Development roles has included employer-filed petitions, though the company primarily shows sponsorship through EB-2, EB-3, and F-1 OPT pathways. If H-1B is your route, confirm with the recruiter early whether the specific role is approved for H-1B sponsorship, since eligibility can vary by position and hiring cycle.
How do I apply for Business Development jobs at Neo4j?
Applications go through Neo4j's careers page, where roles are listed by region and function. Before applying, confirm the role includes visa sponsorship by reviewing the job description or asking the recruiter directly. Migrate Mate also aggregates Neo4j's Business Development openings filtered by sponsorship eligibility, which makes it easier to identify the right positions without manually checking each listing.
Which visa types are commonly used for Business Development roles at Neo4j?
Neo4j has sponsored Business Development hires through F-1 OPT, TN, and employment-based Green Card categories including EB-2 and EB-3. F-1 OPT is common for recent graduates entering BD roles, while TN is an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals whose job duties align with qualifying professional categories under the USMCA. Green Card sponsorship through PERM is a longer-term pathway that some employees pursue after joining.
What qualifications are expected for Business Development roles at Neo4j?
Neo4j's Business Development roles typically require experience in enterprise software sales or partnerships, with strong preference for candidates who can speak to technical buyers. Familiarity with graph databases, data infrastructure, or developer-focused go-to-market strategies strengthens your profile significantly. A bachelor's degree in a business or technical field is standard, and prior experience in a software company covering similar deal sizes is weighted heavily in hiring decisions.
How do I think about visa sponsorship timing when pursuing a role at Neo4j?
Sponsorship timelines depend heavily on your visa category. F-1 OPT authorization can begin close to your start date, but H-1B cap filings are tied to a single annual window with an October 1 effective date. PERM-based Green Card sponsorship requires DOL recruitment steps and can take several years. Raise your visa situation with the recruiter before the offer stage so Neo4j's HR and immigration counsel can assess the path and timeline specific to your situation.
