Frame Your Experience Around Graph Technology
Neo4j sells into technical enterprise buyers, so your resume should reflect familiarity with data infrastructure, knowledge graphs, or adjacent categories like cloud databases or analytics platforms. Generic SaaS sales experience reads weaker than a background that maps to their buyer profile.
Target Roles Tied to Named Accounts
Neo4j structures its business development org around specific verticals and named accounts. Applying to postings that list industries you have existing relationships in, such as financial services or life sciences, signals immediate pipeline value and reduces the employer's onboarding risk when sponsoring a visa.
Clarify Your OPT or TN Timeline Early
If you are on F-1 OPT, confirm your STEM extension eligibility before your first recruiter call. Neo4j has sponsored TN status for Canadian and Mexican nationals in business development roles, so bring that pathway to the table directly rather than waiting for the employer to surface it.
Understand How PERM Affects Your Offer Timeline
EB-2 and EB-3 green card sponsorship involves a PERM labor certification filed with the DOL, which can extend your planning horizon by a year or more before an I-140 petition is filed. Factor this into any equity or compensation negotiation so your timeline expectations align with the employer's.
Use Migrate Mate to Identify Active Openings
Neo4j posts Business Development Executive roles across regions at different times of year. Use Migrate Mate to filter for open positions at Neo4j that are actively hiring international candidates, so you are applying when sponsorship bandwidth is highest rather than cold-reaching into a closed pipeline.
Prepare References Who Can Speak to Revenue Impact
Neo4j's hiring process for business development roles typically includes reference checks focused on quota attainment and enterprise deal velocity. Line up references who can speak specifically to pipeline contribution and technical deal cycles, not just general professional character, before an offer is extended.

Find Business Development Executive at Neo4j JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Neo4j sponsor H-1B visas for Business Development Executives?
Neo4j does not appear in public H-1B LCA disclosure data as a frequent filer for Business Development Executive roles under that visa category. The company's documented sponsorship activity for this function is concentrated around EB-2, EB-3, and F-1 OPT pathways. If H-1B sponsorship is your primary need, raise it directly with the recruiter before advancing through the process.
Which visa types are commonly used for Business Development Executive roles at Neo4j?
Neo4j has sponsored EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant visas and has supported F-1 OPT work authorization for Business Development Executive hires. TN status is also a viable pathway for Canadian and Mexican nationals in this role category, given that business development functions in software can qualify under the TN professional list. Confirm which pathways apply to your situation with an immigration attorney.
What qualifications or experience does Neo4j expect for Business Development Executive roles?
Neo4j typically looks for candidates with a background in enterprise software or data technology sales, experience managing complex multi-stakeholder deals, and familiarity with technical buyers in industries like financial services, healthcare, or manufacturing. A bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related field is standard. Demonstrated quota attainment and experience with long sales cycles in a SaaS or database environment carries significant weight.
How do I apply for Business Development Executive jobs at Neo4j?
Applications go through Neo4j's careers portal, where roles are listed by region and seniority. Before applying, review the job description for language around visa sponsorship eligibility. Migrate Mate lists Business Development Executive openings at Neo4j and filters for positions open to international candidates, which can help you identify the right posting and timing before submitting your application directly.
How do I plan my timeline if Neo4j is sponsoring my Green Card?
Green Card sponsorship through the EB-2 or EB-3 category starts with a PERM labor certification filed with the DOL, a process that typically takes six to eighteen months before an I-140 immigrant petition can be filed with USCIS. If you are from a country with a backlogged priority date, such as India, your total timeline extends further. Start these conversations with your hiring manager and HR contact as soon as an offer is in hand.
