Frame your pipeline experience in enterprise software
Neo4j's BD roles focus on graph database adoption in complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles. Before applying, document specific examples of navigating technical buyers and cross-functional deals. Generic SaaS experience reads weaker than evidence of consultative, solution-led selling.
Confirm your visa category matches the role level
Neo4j sponsors EB-2, EB-3, F-1 OPT, and TN visas, but each maps differently to seniority and degree requirements. A TN works only for Canadian and Mexican citizens in qualifying occupations. Confirm your category is viable before investing time in the application process.
Request LCA details before accepting an offer
For H-1B or EB-based sponsorship, Neo4j must file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL certifying your offered wage meets the prevailing rate for your work location. Ask the recruiter which wage level applies before signing, since location affects the certified salary band.
Time your OPT application around Neo4j's hiring cycles
Neo4j posts Sales Business Development roles throughout the year, but enterprise software companies often backfill in Q1 and Q3. If your F-1 OPT authorization window is narrow, apply at least 90 days before your program end date so USCIS processing doesn't overlap with your start date.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open roles by visa type
Neo4j lists Sales Business Development positions across experience levels, but not every posting signals sponsorship eligibility. Use Migrate Mate to filter Neo4j's open roles by the visa categories they actively support, so you're targeting positions where your status is a fit from the start.
Prepare for PERM implications if pursuing a Green Card
If your goal is permanent residency through an EB-2 or EB-3 pathway, Neo4j will need to run a PERM labor market test before filing your immigrant petition. That process typically takes 12 to 18 months, so raise the green card conversation during the offer stage, not after you start.

Find Sales Business Development at Neo4j JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Neo4j sponsor H-1B visas for Sales Business Developments?
Neo4j's sponsorship activity for Sales Business Development roles is concentrated in EB-2, EB-3, F-1 OPT, and TN categories rather than H-1B. That doesn't mean H-1B sponsorship is off the table, but candidates in active H-1B status or pursuing a transfer should discuss eligibility directly with the recruiting team during the offer stage, since sponsorship decisions depend on role level and timing.
How do I apply for Sales Business Development jobs at Neo4j?
Apply directly through Neo4j's careers page. Sales Business Development roles at Neo4j are posted across experience levels, from SDR and BDR positions to senior and strategic roles. Tailor your application to graph database use cases and enterprise software sales. You can also browse and filter Neo4j's open roles by visa eligibility on Migrate Mate before applying.
Which visa types are commonly used for Sales Business Development roles at Neo4j?
Neo4j has sponsored EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant visas, F-1 OPT employment authorization, and TN status for Sales Business Development hires. F-1 OPT is most accessible for recent graduates entering SDR or BDR roles. TN applies to Canadian and Mexican citizens in qualifying business or engineering occupations. EB-2 and EB-3 require employer-initiated PERM labor certification and are more common for mid-to-senior hires.
What qualifications does Neo4j typically look for in Sales Business Development candidates?
Neo4j looks for candidates with a background in enterprise software sales, experience navigating technical buying committees, and familiarity with database, analytics, or infrastructure products. A bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related field strengthens your profile, particularly for roles that may require H-1B or EB-based sponsorship, where degree-to-role alignment is a USCIS requirement for specialty occupation classification.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Neo4j Sales Business Development role?
Timeline depends heavily on visa type. F-1 OPT authorization from USCIS takes up to 90 days, so apply early. TN status for Canadians can be obtained at the border on the same day. EB-2 and EB-3 green card pathways involve DOL's PERM process, which typically runs 12 to 18 months before USCIS petition filing. Plan your job search timeline around your current status expiration date.
