Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Sales Jobs at New American Funding Jobs
Obtain your NMLS license before applying
Mortgage sales roles at New American Funding typically require a valid Nationwide Multistate Licensing System license. Getting licensed before you apply signals you're ready to produce on day one, which directly reduces employer hesitation around sponsoring a foreign national.
Target branch markets with active hiring
New American Funding operates licensed branches across dozens of states. Focus your outreach on markets where their retail mortgage hiring is concentrated, since local branch managers often have more flexibility to advocate for strong candidates through the sponsorship approval process.
Understand which Green Card path fits Sales
Sales roles at New American Funding have been sponsored under EB-2 and EB-3 employment-based categories, which require PERM labor certification through the DOL. Knowing this ahead of conversations with HR helps you ask the right questions and frame your timeline expectations realistically.
Align your background with specialty occupation standards
For any petition USCIS reviews, your role needs to qualify as a specialty occupation. Financial sales positions that require a bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field sit in a stronger position than general sales roles, so lead with that framing in your resume and interviews.
Negotiate sponsorship before your offer is finalized
Once a hiring manager extends an informal offer, raising sponsorship for the first time creates friction. Bring it up during the final interview round, framing it as a process you've researched and can guide the HR team through, rather than a burden you're placing on them.
Search Migrate Mate to find open Sales roles
Identifying which New American Funding markets are actively hiring sponsorable Sales candidates takes real-time data. Use Migrate Mate to filter open positions by employer and role type so you're applying where sponsorship conversations are already realistic, not guessing from general job boards.

Find Sales at New American Funding JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does New American Funding sponsor H-1B visas for Sales roles?
New American Funding's sponsorship history for Sales roles has centered on employment-based Green Card categories rather than the H-1B. Whether an H-1B is available for a specific Sales position depends on how the role is scoped and whether it meets USCIS's specialty occupation definition, which requires a directly related bachelor's degree as a standard entry requirement.
How do I apply for Sales jobs at New American Funding?
Start by identifying open Sales positions through Migrate Mate, which filters roles by employer and sponsorship history so you can target positions where immigration support is realistic. From there, apply directly through New American Funding's careers portal. Having your NMLS license, a relevant finance or business degree, and a clear understanding of the PERM process ready before your interview will strengthen your candidacy significantly.
Which visa types are commonly used for Sales roles at New American Funding?
Sales positions at New American Funding that have received sponsorship have generally gone through the EB-2 or EB-3 employment-based Green Card pathways. Both require the employer to complete PERM labor certification through the DOL before filing an immigrant petition with USCIS. These are permanent residence pathways, not temporary work visas, so you're looking at a multi-year process from initial filing to Green Card approval.
What qualifications does New American Funding expect for sponsored Sales candidates?
Competitive candidates typically bring a bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a closely related field, combined with demonstrated sales or loan origination experience. Holding an active NMLS license is often a baseline requirement for mortgage-facing roles. Because PERM requires the employer to test the labor market, your qualifications need to genuinely align with the posted job requirements rather than being retrofitted after the fact.
How do I plan my timeline if I need New American Funding to sponsor my Green Card?
Employment-based Green Card sponsorship through PERM typically takes one to two years just to complete the DOL labor certification stage, before USCIS even begins adjudicating the immigrant petition. For Indian nationals, priority date backlogs in EB-2 and EB-3 can extend the total timeline significantly beyond that. Starting the conversation with HR early and confirming the company's internal process for initiating PERM is the most important first step.
