Target roles at the intersection of healthcare and technology
NOCD builds its platform around therapist-facing and patient-facing technology. Roles in clinical operations, software engineering, and product that directly support OCD therapy delivery tend to align most closely with NOCD's sponsorship history.
Understand the F-1 OPT and CPT pathway before applying
NOCD sponsors F-1 OPT and CPT in addition to H-1B, which matters for recent graduates on STEM extensions. If you're on OPT, applying early gives NOCD time to plan your H-1B sponsorship before your authorization expires.
Canadian candidates should ask about TN eligibility
NOCD sponsors TN visas, which is significant for Canadian nationals in qualifying healthcare or tech roles. TN sponsorship has no lottery and can move quickly, making it a practical alternative to waiting on H-1B selection.
Frame your application around clinical impact, not just technical skills
NOCD's mission is expanding access to OCD treatment. Candidates who can articulate how their work contributes to patient outcomes, not just platform performance, tend to connect better with this company's hiring priorities.
Reach out to NOCD's clinical and engineering teams directly
Given NOCD's focused team size, direct outreach to hiring managers in mental health technology and clinical operations can get you further than applying cold. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history before you reach out.
Apply as early in the hiring cycle as possible
Visa sponsorship at a focused digital health company requires internal planning across HR, legal, and finance. Submitting your application early gives NOCD the runway to initiate sponsorship proceedings without timeline pressure, especially for H-1B cap filings in March.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does NOCD sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, NOCD sponsors H-1B visas. The company has an active sponsorship track record, though it sponsors selectively relative to larger healthcare employers. Sponsored roles have generally aligned with clinical operations and technology functions that directly support NOCD's OCD treatment platform. Applying for roles that match your degree field and specialty area will strengthen your case.
Which visa types does NOCD sponsor?
NOCD sponsors H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visas. This range covers a meaningful portion of international candidates, including recent U.S. graduates on OPT, students in CPT-eligible programs, and Canadian nationals qualifying under TN. Notably, NOCD does not have a documented Green Card or E-3 visa sponsorship history, so those pathways are not confirmed options at this time.
What types of roles at NOCD are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at NOCD tends to concentrate in roles that combine specialized knowledge with direct relevance to the company's digital mental health platform. Clinical roles requiring licensed therapists, software engineering positions building the therapy platform, and operations roles supporting care delivery have historically been the most viable sponsorship candidates. Generalist or entry-level administrative roles are less likely to qualify.
How do I find open sponsored jobs at NOCD?
Migrate Mate is the most efficient way to browse NOCD's current sponsored openings. The platform verifies sponsorship history and filters jobs by visa type, so you can confirm NOCD is actively sponsoring before investing time in an application. This is especially useful if you're on OPT with a limited window or planning around the H-1B cap deadline in March.
How do I improve my chances of getting sponsored by NOCD?
Align your application directly to NOCD's clinical or technical needs and be upfront about your visa situation early in the process. NOCD operates in a focused niche, so demonstrating genuine knowledge of OCD treatment, evidence-based therapy models, or healthcare technology builds credibility. Apply with enough lead time before your current authorization expires so NOCD's HR and legal teams aren't working against the clock.
