Align your credentials to PepsiCo's engineering disciplines
PepsiCo's engineering hiring spans process, mechanical, electrical, and supply chain functions tied to food and beverage manufacturing. Frame your resume around plant operations, continuous improvement, or packaging systems to match the roles where sponsorship is most active.
Target roles at manufacturing sites directly
PepsiCo's largest engineering headcount sits at production facilities, not just corporate offices. Applying to plant-based roles in states like Texas, North Carolina, or New York often surfaces openings with stronger sponsorship precedent than regional support positions.
Ask about the H-1B process during offer negotiation
Once you have a verbal offer, ask HR directly whether the role is designated for H-1B sponsorship and which law firm handles filings. PepsiCo uses outside immigration counsel, so knowing the internal approval process early prevents surprises near the April USCIS registration window.
Understand how PERM fits your long-term path
PepsiCo sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards through PERM labor certification for engineering roles. The DOL process requires a formal recruitment period, so raise permanent residency sponsorship in your first year to align on when the employer can initiate the filing.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open engineering roles by sponsorship
Engineering openings at large food and beverage employers cycle quickly and not every posting flags visa sponsorship clearly. Use Migrate Mate to browse PepsiCo engineering jobs filtered by the visa types that apply to your situation, so you're applying to roles where sponsorship is confirmed.

Does PepsiCo sponsor H-1B visas for Engineers?
Yes, PepsiCo sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying engineering roles. Sponsorship is most common for positions in process engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain where a relevant bachelor's degree is required. H-1B filings are subject to the annual USCIS cap and lottery, so your employer must register you in April for an October start date.
How do I apply for Engineering jobs at PepsiCo?
Applications go through PepsiCo's careers portal at pepsicojobs.com. Search by function using terms like process engineer, manufacturing engineer, or packaging engineer. You can also browse PepsiCo engineering roles filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility on Migrate Mate, which surfaces open positions relevant to your authorization type in one place.
Which visa types does PepsiCo sponsor for Engineering roles?
PepsiCo sponsors H-1B, TN, F-1 OPT, and F-1 CPT for engineering positions, and supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways for longer-tenured employees. TN is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying engineering classifications. The right pathway depends on your nationality, degree field, and the specific role structure.
What qualifications does PepsiCo expect for sponsored Engineering roles?
Most sponsored engineering roles at PepsiCo require a bachelor's degree in a directly related field such as chemical, mechanical, industrial, or electrical engineering. Roles in food manufacturing often prioritize experience with GMP environments, Lean or Six Sigma methodologies, and process optimization. Advanced degrees strengthen candidacy for R&D and senior process engineering positions.
How do I time my application around visa filing deadlines?
If you need H-1B sponsorship, work backward from the April USCIS registration window. Securing an offer by February gives your employer enough time to complete internal approvals and engage immigration counsel before the registration deadline. For OPT extensions or TN renewals, confirm your authorization end date with HR during the offer stage to avoid any gap in employment eligibility.
