Frame your credentials around PepsiCo's portfolio complexity
PepsiCo Program Managers oversee initiatives that span multiple brands, regions, and supply chain functions. When preparing your resume and cover letter, tie your experience to cross-functional program delivery, not just project coordination. That distinction matters in their hiring process.
Search PepsiCo Program Manager roles on Migrate Mate
PepsiCo posts Program Manager openings across multiple business units and locations. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for PepsiCo roles that align with your visa type, so you're not sifting through positions without confirmed sponsorship eligibility.
Raise sponsorship needs after demonstrating operational impact
In PepsiCo interviews, lead with your ability to manage ambiguity in large consumer goods environments before raising sponsorship. Hiring managers who are already convinced of your fit are far more likely to move the H-1B or TN process forward through HR.
Clarify your TN eligibility if you hold Canadian or Mexican citizenship
TN status is faster to initiate than H-1B and doesn't require a lottery. If your Program Manager role involves management analysis or engineering functions that meet DOL's TN criteria, confirm with PepsiCo's immigration team whether TN is an option before defaulting to H-1B.
Understand PERM timing if you're pursuing a Green Card
EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship through PERM requires PepsiCo to document a recruitment process and often takes one to two years before USCIS filing. For Program Managers, confirming whether your role qualifies as a specialty occupation early in employment avoids delays if you later seek permanent residency.

Does PepsiCo sponsor H-1B visas for Program Managers?
Yes, PepsiCo sponsors H-1B visas for Program Manager roles. Program management positions typically qualify as specialty occupations under USCIS criteria, requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Because H-1B filings are subject to the annual lottery, timing your application cycle and confirming employer readiness before the March registration window is critical.
Which visa types does PepsiCo commonly sponsor for Program Manager roles?
PepsiCo sponsors H-1B, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 for Program Managers. TN is an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals whose role aligns with eligible occupational categories. F-1 OPT and CPT are common entry points for recent graduates before transitioning to H-1B sponsorship.
How do I apply for Program Manager jobs at PepsiCo?
You can search for open Program Manager positions directly on PepsiCo's careers site or through Migrate Mate, which filters roles by visa sponsorship eligibility. When applying, tailor your application to the specific business unit, whether supply chain, marketing, or R&D, since PepsiCo's Program Manager scope varies significantly by function and division.
What qualifications does PepsiCo expect for Program Manager roles?
PepsiCo typically looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree in business, engineering, supply chain, or a related field, along with demonstrated experience managing cross-functional programs. Familiarity with consumer goods or food and beverage operations is an advantage. PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials can strengthen your profile, particularly for senior-level openings.
How do I plan the timeline for H-1B sponsorship at PepsiCo?
H-1B registration opens in March each year, with an October 1 start date for selected candidates. If you're on F-1 OPT, you need an active EAD and potentially OPT extension to bridge the gap. Confirm that PepsiCo's HR team has initiated the USCIS filing process no later than early spring, since premium processing timelines and cap deadlines leave little room for delays.
