Align your degree to PepsiCo's expectations
PepsiCo's Business Manager roles typically require a bachelor's in business, marketing, or a related field. For H-1B eligibility, your degree must directly correspond to the role's duties. A general management degree without a commercial or analytical focus can weaken your petition.
Target PepsiCo's field sales and category teams
Business Manager openings at PepsiCo concentrate in field sales, category management, and key account planning for retail and foodservice channels. Filter your search by division rather than title alone. Frito-Lay and PepsiCo Beverages North America post these roles under slightly different naming conventions.
Search open Business Manager roles on Migrate Mate
PepsiCo lists Business Manager positions across multiple divisions and geographies at different times. Use Migrate Mate to browse current openings filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility so you're only applying where sponsorship is confirmed, not assumed.
Clarify sponsorship before accepting an offer
PepsiCo's willingness to sponsor varies by business unit and role level. Before you finalize an offer, confirm in writing whether the position supports H-1B transfer or new H-1B filing. Don't assume corporate-level sponsorship policies apply uniformly across every division.
File your LCA early in the offer timeline
Your employer submits a Labor Condition Application to the DOL before USCIS can receive the H-1B petition. For Business Manager roles, the LCA's prevailing wage determination is tied to the SOC code PepsiCo selects. A mismatch between your duties and that code can delay or complicate filing.
Use OPT strategically if you're still in school
If you're on F-1 OPT, a Business Manager role at PepsiCo counts as qualifying employment for STEM OPT extension only if your degree is from a STEM-designated program. Marketing and supply chain degrees qualify. A general MBA may not. Verify your CIP code with your DSO before accepting.

Find Business Manager at PepsiCo JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does PepsiCo sponsor H-1B visas for Business Managers?
Yes, PepsiCo sponsors H-1B visas for Business Manager roles, though sponsorship decisions depend on the specific division and position level. PepsiCo has an established immigration infrastructure and works with external counsel to file petitions. You should confirm sponsorship support directly during the offer stage, as not every business unit operates under the same hiring policy.
How do I apply for Business Manager jobs at PepsiCo?
Applications go through PepsiCo's careers portal at pepsicojobs.com. Search by the Business Manager title and filter by division, such as Frito-Lay, PepsiCo Beverages, or PepsiCo Foods North America. Migrate Mate also aggregates PepsiCo's open Business Manager positions and flags roles where visa sponsorship applies, making it easier to identify the right openings without manually screening each posting.
Which visa types does PepsiCo commonly use for Business Manager roles?
PepsiCo most commonly sponsors H-1B visas for Business Manager positions. The company also supports F-1 OPT and CPT for students in qualifying roles, and TN visa status for Canadian and Mexican nationals whose occupation aligns with the USMCA professional categories. For long-term employees, PepsiCo initiates Green Card processes through EB-2 or EB-3 PERM-based sponsorship.
What qualifications does PepsiCo expect for a Business Manager role?
PepsiCo's Business Manager roles typically require a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, or supply chain, along with prior experience in sales planning, category management, or account management, ideally within consumer packaged goods. Familiarity with syndicated data tools like Nielsen or Circana and experience managing retail or foodservice customer relationships strengthens your candidacy significantly.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a PepsiCo Business Manager offer?
For H-1B transfers from an existing H-1B, PepsiCo can file a portability petition and you can begin work once USCIS receives it, typically within days. New H-1B cap-subject petitions require the annual lottery in March and, if selected, have an October 1 start date. PERM-based Green Card cases run 18 months to several years depending on your country of birth and DOL processing backlogs.
