ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
What You’ll Gain Experience With During your SkillBridge internship, you may gain exposure to:
- Testing, inspecting, and troubleshooting electrical power systems
- Protective relays and protection and control systems
- Reading electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Electrical testing equipment and diagnostic tools
- Substations, switchgear, transformers, breakers, and related equipment
- Troubleshooting electrical and control system issues
- Performing field service work at industrial, utility, and commercial customer locations
- Working safely around medium- and high-voltage electrical equipment
- Learning industry standards and best practices from experienced technicians and engineers
