Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Nursing Jobs at Sodexo Jobs
Align your credentials with U.S. licensure requirements
Before applying, confirm your nursing license is recognized in the state where Sodexo has open roles. Many international nurses need NCLEX-RN passage and a credentials evaluation through CGFNS before any employer can move forward with sponsorship.
Target Sodexo roles at healthcare client sites
Sodexo embeds nursing staff at hospitals, senior living facilities, and corporate wellness centers. Filtering your search to healthcare sector postings, rather than food and beverage operations, puts you in front of roles where clinical visa sponsorship is most common.
Use Migrate Mate to surface active Sodexo nursing openings
Sodexo posts roles across many platforms and they fill quickly. Migrate Mate lets you filter specifically for Sodexo nursing jobs that offer visa sponsorship, so you're not manually combing through listings that don't match your work authorization needs.
Ask recruiters directly about your visa category
Sodexo sponsors multiple visa types for nursing roles. When you reach the recruiter screen, name your specific visa category and confirm the role's petitioning timeline. J-1 and TN pathways move faster than H-1B, and knowing which Sodexo is prepared to file affects how you prioritize your application.
Factor in DOL prevailing wage requirements before negotiating
For roles filed under H-2B or TN, your offered salary must meet or exceed the DOL prevailing wage for the specific nursing occupation and location. Review the DOL Foreign Labor Certification wage database before your offer conversation so you can verify compliance independently.
Prepare your employment verification documents early
Sodexo uses E-Verify for all new hires. Have your work authorization documents ready at the point of offer, not after signing. Delays in producing Form I-9 supporting documents can stall your start date even when the sponsorship petition is already approved.

Find Nursing at Sodexo JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Sodexo sponsor H-1B visas for Nursing roles?
Sodexo's nursing sponsorship activity focuses on visa categories other than H-1B. Nursing occupations often qualify under H-2B, TN, J-1, or F-1 OPT and CPT pathways depending on your background and the specific role. If H-1B is your only pathway, confirm with the recruiter early, as Sodexo's nursing petitions do not consistently follow that route.
Which visa types does Sodexo commonly use for Nursing positions?
For nursing roles, Sodexo has sponsored candidates through H-2B, J-1, TN, F-1 OPT, and F-1 CPT. TN is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying nursing occupations. J-1 works for exchange-based clinical roles. OPT and CPT serve nursing students and recent graduates completing U.S. clinical programs. The right pathway depends on your citizenship, education, and the role's duration.
How do I apply for Nursing jobs at Sodexo?
Search for open nursing roles through Migrate Mate, which filters Sodexo postings by visa sponsorship type so you can match your work authorization to the right listing. When you apply, tailor your resume to the specific clinical setting Sodexo is staffing, whether that is a hospital, senior care facility, or corporate wellness site, and be ready to confirm your licensure status and visa category in the initial recruiter screen.
What qualifications does Sodexo expect for sponsored Nursing candidates?
Sodexo expects active U.S. state nursing licensure or documented eligibility for licensure by endorsement. International candidates typically need a CGFNS credentials evaluation and NCLEX-RN passage before Sodexo will advance a sponsorship petition. Experience in the specific clinical setting tied to the client site, such as long-term care or occupational health, strengthens your candidacy above the baseline licensure requirement.
How do I plan the timeline for a sponsored Nursing role at Sodexo?
Timeline depends heavily on visa category. TN and J-1 petitions can move in weeks. H-2B has defined DOL certification periods tied to seasonal or temporary need. F-1 OPT requires filing with USCIS up to 90 days before your program end date, so apply to Sodexo roles early enough that your OPT authorization start date aligns with the role's expected start. Build in time for state licensure verification, which can add four to eight weeks independently.
