Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Program Associate Jobs at Sodexo Jobs
Align your degree to program management
Sodexo's Program Associate roles typically require a degree in hospitality, business, or a related field. Before applying, confirm your transcripts clearly reflect coursework that maps to operations or food service program coordination, since visa petitions rely on this degree-to-role alignment.
Target Sodexo's institutional food service accounts
Sodexo staffs Program Associates across healthcare, higher education, and corporate dining accounts. Applying to postings tied to these segments increases your fit score, since these accounts run structured onboarding cycles that accommodate visa filing timelines better than project-based deployments.
Clarify your OPT or CPT authorization early
If you're on F-1 status, confirm with your DSO whether the Program Associate role qualifies under your major before your first interview. Sodexo's recruiting team will ask about your work authorization timeline, and having a clean answer prevents delays at the offer stage.
Confirm TN eligibility if you hold Canadian or Mexican citizenship
TN status requires your role to fit a qualifying USMCA occupation category. For Program Associates, the strongest TN classification is typically Management Consultant or Scientific Technician. Verify your job duties match a qualifying category before Sodexo's HR initiates the offer documentation.
Ask about Sodexo's internal visa filing workflow
At the offer stage, ask your recruiter whether Sodexo uses in-house immigration counsel or an external firm for visa petitions. Knowing who prepares your I-129 or LCA helps you respond to document requests quickly and avoids stalling your start date.
Use Migrate Mate to find open Program Associate roles
Sodexo posts Program Associate openings across multiple accounts and regions at different times. Use Migrate Mate to filter active listings by visa type so you can focus on positions where Sodexo has already indicated sponsorship willingness for your specific authorization category.

Find Program Associate at Sodexo JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Sodexo sponsor H-1B visas for Program Associates?
Sodexo has sponsored H-1B visas for Program Associate roles, though this category is subject to the annual cap and lottery. Because H-1B selection isn't guaranteed, Sodexo also uses other visa categories for this function. If you're relying on H-1B sponsorship, discuss the lottery timing with your recruiter before accepting an offer, since cap-subject filings only open once per year.
Which visa types does Sodexo commonly use for Program Associate roles?
Sodexo sponsors Program Associates across several visa categories depending on the candidate's nationality and current status. F-1 OPT and CPT are common entry points for recent graduates in food service or hospitality programs. TN visas are an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying occupations. J-1 exchange visitors in relevant training programs have also been placed in this function.
What qualifications does Sodexo expect for a sponsored Program Associate?
A bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, nutrition, or a related field is the standard baseline. Sodexo looks for candidates with exposure to food service operations, client account management, or program coordination. For visa sponsorship purposes, your degree field must have a logical connection to the role's core duties, which Sodexo documents as part of the specialty occupation determination.
How do I apply for Program Associate jobs at Sodexo?
You can apply through Sodexo's careers portal or find open Program Associate positions filtered by visa sponsorship type on Migrate Mate. When applying, note which account segment the role supports (healthcare, higher education, corporate dining) since each has slightly different scheduling and program responsibilities. Tailor your resume to reflect operational or client-facing food service experience, and be prepared to discuss your work authorization status in the initial recruiter screen.
How do I manage the timeline between my offer and visa filing for a Program Associate role at Sodexo?
The gap between offer and start date depends on your visa category. F-1 OPT authorization through your school's DSO typically takes three to five months from application, so apply early. TN processing at the port of entry is same-day for Canadian citizens. Cap-subject H-1B petitions follow USCIS's annual October 1 start date, which can mean a wait of several months between offer and authorized employment. Align your offer acceptance timing to these windows.
