Job Roles at Squarespace Companies
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Squarespace Visa Sponsorship USA
Target roles in engineering and product
Squarespace's sponsorship activity skews toward technical and product functions. If your background is in software engineering, data, or product management, you're applying into the departments most likely to have active sponsorship pipelines at the company.
Understand which visa types Squarespace supports
Squarespace sponsors E-3 visas for Australian citizens and supports Green Card pathways through EB-2 and EB-3. Knowing which categories apply to your nationality and career stage helps you frame your eligibility clearly in conversations with their recruiting team.
Highlight specialty occupation credentials early
For E-3 and Green Card sponsorship at a technology company like Squarespace, your degree field and job duties need to align tightly. Lead with your qualifications upfront in your resume and cover letter rather than waiting for the interview to address them.
Engage recruiters who understand immigration processes
Tech companies of Squarespace's size typically have in-house recruiters familiar with visa sponsorship. When you reach out, signal that you already understand the process, it removes friction and positions you as a low-risk hire from a sponsorship standpoint.
Use Migrate Mate to filter verified sponsoring roles
Not every Squarespace job listing will mention visa sponsorship explicitly. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and find open roles at Squarespace without having to guess which positions are eligible.
Prepare for a longer hiring timeline if Green Card is the goal
Squarespace has a track record with immigrant visa sponsorship, but EB-2 and EB-3 processes involve multiple government agencies and can extend well beyond initial employment. Factor this into your planning and discuss timelines openly with the recruiting team early.

Does Squarespace sponsor H-1B visas?
Based on available sponsorship data, Squarespace does not appear to sponsor H-1B visas. The company's sponsorship activity is concentrated in other categories, including E-3 visas for Australian citizens and Green Card pathways through EB-2 and EB-3. If you're not eligible for those categories, Squarespace may not be a viable sponsorship path for your situation.
Which visa types does Squarespace sponsor?
Squarespace sponsors E-3 visas for Australian citizens, EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant visas for Green Card pathways, and supports F-1 OPT and CPT for recent graduates, as well as TN visas for Canadian and Mexican nationals. Green Card sponsorship represents the majority of their immigration activity, making Squarespace a stronger option for candidates pursuing permanent residence than temporary work authorization.
Which departments or roles at Squarespace are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Squarespace's sponsorship activity is most concentrated in technical roles, software engineering, data engineering, and product-adjacent functions are the most common pathways. The company's core business as a website-building and e-commerce platform means technical talent drives hiring, and those roles are where sponsorship resources are most actively deployed.
How do I find open visa-sponsored jobs at Squarespace?
The most reliable way is to use Migrate Mate, which aggregates and verifies sponsorship data so you can filter specifically for Squarespace roles with a real sponsorship track record. This saves time compared to sifting through general job listings where visa sponsorship eligibility isn't always disclosed upfront. You can also monitor Squarespace's careers page directly and contact their recruiting team to confirm sponsorship availability for specific roles.
How do I approach applying to Squarespace if I need visa sponsorship?
Apply to roles that match your technical background and explicitly match your visa category, E-3 if you're Australian, TN if you're Canadian or Mexican, or Green Card tracks if your employer relationship is longer-term. In your application and early recruiter conversations, demonstrate that you understand the sponsorship process and have a clear eligibility case. Squarespace has an established track record with immigration, so the infrastructure exists, your job is to make the match clear.
