Frame your credentials around healthcare business contexts
Trinity Health's Business Development roles typically require demonstrated experience in healthcare partnerships, payer contracting, or service line growth. Before applying, document your experience in healthcare-specific BD contexts rather than leading with general sales or strategy credentials.
Target Trinity Health's regional market offices
Trinity Health operates through regional hubs across multiple states. Business Development openings often sit within specific regional ministries, so search by market rather than headquarters alone to avoid missing roles that match your sponsorship timeline and specialty.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open BD roles by visa type
Trinity Health posts Business Development positions across multiple states, and not every role comes with the same sponsorship commitment. Use Migrate Mate to filter openings by the visa categories Trinity Health actively sponsors so you apply only to positions aligned with your situation.
Clarify your OPT or TN timeline before the offer stage
If you're on F-1 OPT or TN status, the window between offer acceptance and your start date matters. Confirm with Trinity Health's HR or legal team early whether your current authorization covers the projected start date before paperwork is issued.
Understand how PERM affects your EB-2 or EB-3 timeline
For permanent residence through EB-2 or EB-3, Trinity Health must complete a PERM labor certification through DOL before filing your I-140. Business Development roles must meet DOL's minimum requirements definition, so ask your HR contact which job codes have cleared PERM before accepting.
Prepare for multi-stakeholder interviews at large health systems
Trinity Health's BD hiring often involves interviews across clinical, operational, and finance leaders. Preparing materials that show measurable healthcare partnership outcomes, such as new payer agreements or service expansion results, signals readiness for the cross-functional scope these roles carry.

Does Trinity Health sponsor H-1B visas for Business Developments?
Yes, Trinity Health sponsors H-1B visas for Business Development roles. Because the H-1B requires the position to qualify as a specialty occupation, your role will need to demonstrate that a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field is the normal minimum requirement. Healthcare-focused BD positions involving payer strategy, market analysis, or partnership development generally meet that threshold.
How do I apply for Business Development jobs at Trinity Health?
Applications go through Trinity Health's careers portal, where openings are listed by ministry and region. Because the company operates across many states, searching by location or business unit surfaces the most relevant roles. Migrate Mate also lists Trinity Health's current Business Development openings filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility, which simplifies identifying positions that match your work authorization status.
Which visa types does Trinity Health commonly use for Business Development roles?
Trinity Health sponsors H-1B, TN, J-1, and F-1 OPT and CPT for Business Development positions, along with EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant visa pathways for candidates pursuing permanent residence. TN is an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories. The right visa depends on your citizenship, degree field, and where you are in the immigration process.
What qualifications does Trinity Health expect for Business Development roles?
Most Business Development positions at Trinity Health require a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, healthcare administration, or a clinical discipline. Senior roles typically expect experience in healthcare payer relations, hospital system partnerships, or service line strategy. Candidates with demonstrated experience navigating complex, multi-stakeholder healthcare environments are consistently competitive across Trinity Health's regional markets.
How do I plan my timeline if Trinity Health is filing an H-1B for me?
H-1B cap filings open in March each year for an October 1 start date. If you're selected in the lottery, USCIS then adjudicates the petition, with premium processing available to reduce the wait to roughly 15 business days. If you're already on an H-1B with another employer, Trinity Health can file a transfer petition without waiting for the cap, meaning you can start sooner.
