Frame your credentials around U.S. project delivery standards
Turner evaluates Project Executives on their ability to manage program budgets, subcontractor relationships, and owner contracts at scale. Before applying, translate your international project experience into U.S. construction terminology, referencing project values, delivery methods like CM-at-Risk or Design-Build, and contract structures familiar to U.S. owners.
Target Turner's regional offices strategically
Turner operates through regional business units, and Project Executive hiring tends to cluster in markets with active commercial, healthcare, or infrastructure pipelines. Research which Turner offices are running major programs in your target city and direct your outreach to regional leadership, not just corporate recruiting.
Understand which visa your background supports
Turner sponsors H-1B, E-3, TN, and Green Card pathways for senior roles. Your eligibility depends on nationality, degree field, and job duties. A Project Executive role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation, but confirm your specific degree aligns with the position before applying to avoid surprises at the LCA or petition stage.
Get your professional references lined up early
For a Project Executive hire, Turner will expect references from senior client contacts, owners, or program stakeholders, not just internal managers. Having two or three strong owner-side references ready before you reach the offer stage signals the relationship management skills the role demands and accelerates the internal approval process.
Ask about H-1B transfer timing at the offer stage
If you're already on an H-1B with another employer, Turner can file an H-1B transfer using portability rules, letting you start work once USCIS receives the petition rather than waiting for approval. Raise this with the recruiter early so the legal team can prepare the transfer filing without delaying your start date.
Use Migrate Mate to find open Project Executive roles at Turner
Turner posts Project Executive openings across multiple regions, and availability shifts quickly based on project awards. Use Migrate Mate to filter Turner Construction Company roles by visa sponsorship type and location, so you're applying to positions where sponsorship is already confirmed rather than asking after the fact.

Find Project Executive at Turner Construction Company JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Turner Construction Company sponsor H-1B visas for Project Executives?
Yes, Turner Construction Company sponsors H-1B visas for Project Executive roles. The position typically qualifies as a specialty occupation under USCIS guidelines because it requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a field like construction management, civil engineering, or architecture. Turner's legal team handles LCA filing with DOL and the H-1B petition, but you'll need to confirm the timeline aligns with the annual H-1B cap or your transfer eligibility if you're already on an H-1B.
Which visa types does Turner Construction Company commonly use for Project Executive roles?
Turner sponsors H-1B and E-3 visas most frequently for Project Executive hires, with TN visas available for Canadian and Mexican nationals whose role falls within USMCA-eligible categories. For longer-term placements, Turner also supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship through the PERM labor certification process. F-1 OPT is less common at the Project Executive level, but Turner does support it for recent graduates transitioning into senior roles.
What qualifications and experience does Turner Construction Company expect for a Project Executive?
Turner typically looks for candidates with a degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field, plus significant experience managing large-scale commercial or institutional construction programs. At the Project Executive level, you're expected to lead multiple project teams simultaneously, manage owner relationships, and oversee program financials. Experience with Turner's core market sectors, including healthcare, higher education, or commercial office, strengthens your profile considerably.
How do I apply for Project Executive jobs at Turner Construction Company?
You can browse open Project Executive roles at Turner Construction Company through Migrate Mate, which filters listings by visa sponsorship type and location so you know upfront whether sponsorship is available for each posting. Once you identify a relevant opening, apply directly through Turner's careers portal and tailor your application to the regional market and sector the role supports. Following up with Turner's regional leadership after applying is common practice at this seniority level.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take if Turner Construction Company makes me an offer?
Timeline depends on your visa type. An H-1B transfer if you're already on an H-1B can allow you to start within days of USCIS receiving the petition under portability rules. A new H-1B cap-subject filing means waiting for the annual lottery in March and an October 1 start at the earliest. E-3 consular processing for Australian nationals typically runs two to four weeks from interview to visa issuance. PERM-based Green Card sponsorship is a separate, longer process that Turner initiates after you're already employed.
