Nurse Manager

Location: Longmont, CO

Full-time (Monday – Friday)

The Nurse Manager provides daily leadership and oversight of all clinical operations within the ambulatory surgery center (ASC). This role ensures high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, efficient clinical workflow, and positive team culture across Pre-Op, OR, PACU, Lasers/PAT, and SPD. The Nurse Manager directly supervises all clinical staff and serves as the clinical voice in operational planning, patient-care protocols, compliance, and quality improvement. The Nurse Manager must maintain competency in all clinical roles and responsibilities within the ASC and be able to provide coverage when necessary, including Pre-Op, OR, PACU, Lasers/PAT, and SPD.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado; current BSN license preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of ambulatory surgery clinical experience as a registered nurse; 2+ years of clinical leadership, charge nurse, or management experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Must be able to complete various health testing requirements before starting, such as tuberculosis (TB) blood test and flu vaccine.
• Experience working with CMS, CDPHE, OSHA, HIPAA, and accreditation standards (ACHC or equivalent) preferred.
• Strong intravenous (IV) skills and familiarity with perioperative protocols preferred.

• Proficiency with EMR systems, email and communication tools, and Microsoft 365.
• Ability to handle stress and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Strong understanding of ASC regulatory standards, patient safety, and QAPI.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• ASC clinical operations management and regulatory compliance.
• Quality improvement and patient safety.
• Credentialing, compliance, and accreditation.
• Clinical staff management.
• Ability to step into any clinical role as needed to support staffing, maintain workflow, or ensure patient safety.

The base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $125,000, dependent upon skills and experience.
