Frame your credentials around client outcomes
Consulting firms like Westwood evaluate Lead Management candidates on measurable client impact, not just process ownership. Before applying, document pipeline results, client retention metrics, and cross-functional coordination wins that demonstrate consulting-relevant value.
Confirm E-Verify enrollment before your interview
Professional services firms that sponsor visas are typically E-Verify participants, which is a prerequisite for F-1 OPT STEM extension eligibility. Verify Westwood's E-Verify status through the DOL's public database before your interview so you can address work authorization confidently.
Target Westwood's open roles through Migrate Mate
Westwood Professional Services lists Lead Management positions with verified sponsorship history. Use Migrate Mate to filter and track those openings directly, so you're applying to roles where visa sponsorship is already part of the hiring process.
Understand how TN status applies to your role
If you're a Canadian or Mexican national, Lead Management roles may qualify under TN visa categories like Management Consultant. Confirm the specific job description aligns with DOL's TN occupation definitions before assuming eligibility, as titles alone don't guarantee qualification.
Align your H-1B timing with Westwood's hiring cycles
USCIS opens H-1B registration in March for an October 1 start date. Consulting firms often plan headcount months in advance, so targeting Westwood's Lead Management openings in late fall or early winter gives you the best window to get a registered petition before the cap closes.
Ask about PERM sponsorship during the offer stage
Consulting firms that sponsor H-1B transfers also commonly support Green Card applications through PERM labor certification. At the offer stage, ask directly whether Westwood's immigration policy for Lead Management roles includes EB-2 or EB-3 PERM sponsorship and at what employment tenure it typically begins.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Westwood Professional Services sponsor H-1B visas for Lead Managements?
Yes, Westwood Professional Services has an active history of H-1B visa sponsorship for roles in its consulting operations, including Lead Management positions. The company participates in the USCIS H-1B cap process, so if you're targeting an October 1 start, you'll need to be registered during the March lottery window and have an offer confirmed before registration closes.
Which visa types are commonly used for Lead Management roles at Westwood Professional Services?
Westwood Professional Services sponsors several visa categories for Lead Management hires, including H-1B, F-1 OPT and CPT, TN visa, J-1 visa, and employment-based Green Cards through EB-2 and EB-3. F-1 OPT candidates with STEM degrees may be eligible for the 24-month extension if Westwood is enrolled in E-Verify, which is standard for most professional services firms at this scale.
What qualifications and experience are expected for Lead Management roles at Westwood Professional Services?
Westwood typically looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, along with demonstrated experience managing sales pipelines, CRM platforms, or client acquisition workflows in a consulting or professional services environment. Roles at this level often require you to show cross-functional coordination experience and fluency with tools like Salesforce or HubSpot alongside leadership capability.
How do I apply for Lead Management jobs at Westwood Professional Services?
Westwood Professional Services posts Lead Management openings directly through its careers portal. The most efficient way to find and track roles with confirmed visa sponsorship is through Migrate Mate, which filters Westwood's active openings by sponsorship type so you're not wasting time on listings that don't apply to your work authorization situation. Apply early, as consulting firms fill pipeline-critical roles quickly.
How do I navigate the visa filing timeline once I have a Lead Management offer from Westwood?
Once Westwood extends an offer, the first step is your employer filing a Labor Condition Application with the DOL, which must be certified before USCIS can process an H-1B petition. From LCA filing to USCIS petition approval, standard processing runs three to six months without premium processing. If you're already on OPT or TN status, confirm your current authorization covers you through the start date before resigning from any current role.
