ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Xylem is looking for a Wastewater Systems Technician to report to our Quinton, AL location and service our on-site water treatment equipment. The Wastewater Systems Technician will be responsible for the on-site operation, service, and maintenance of our wastewater treatment equipment. Equipment specific training will be provided. Willing to train the right person, but previous experience working in an industrial environment is especially encouraged. This position operates on Dupont-Style shift with overtime opportunities and occasional weekends.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS FOR WASTEWATER SYSTEMS TECHNICIANS
- HS diploma or equivalent
- One year of work experience preferred
- 0–2 years technical experience preferred – industrial or commercial process water experience a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including the ability to utilize smart devices
- Ability to work in a high customer-facing position
- Ability to identify and remedy potential safety concerns
- Ability to pass a background check, MVR, and drug screen
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
