About the team
Zillow's Agent Sales organization empowers real estate professionals with the solutions and technology they need to succeed in today's dynamic market. As the bridge between Zillow's innovative platform and the agent community, we're dedicated to creating tools and partnerships that drive meaningful results.
The Revenue Strategy & Operations team partners closely with Sales, Customer Success, and cross-functional leadership to shape go-to-market strategy, improve sales performance, and drive critical planning decisions across the business. We work on high-impact problems such as segmentation, territory design, coverage, forecasting, and business performance, combining strategic thinking with operational execution. This is a team for people who enjoy using data and judgment to solve complex commercial problems and turn strategy into action.
About the role
We are seeking a Senior Strategic Planning Manager to drive Sales Strategy and GTM Operations for Zillow’s Agent Sales organization. This role will focus on high-impact commercial strategy work, including sales segmentation, territory planning, coverage design, performance management, and go-to-market execution. The right candidate has recent experience in Sales or GTM Strategy and Operations and has directly supported GTM leadership through data-driven planning and decision-making. They should be equally comfortable shaping strategic recommendations for senior leaders and translating those decisions into operational plans, targets, and field execution.
The ideal candidate brings strong structured problem-solving, sound business judgment, and a track record of leading complex cross-functional work. They are comfortable building structure from ambiguity, partnering closely with senior stakeholders, and driving projects from analysis through execution.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop a deep understanding of one or more of Zillow’s businesses, key performance drivers, and cross-functional improvement opportunities. Become a subject matter expert.
- Lead sales segmentation analyses to define customer/account tiers, coverage models, and sales motions.
- Own or support territory planning, including territory design, book balancing, account assignment logic, and recommendations to improve coverage and productivity.
- Partner with Sales, Finance, GTM, and Analytics to translate topline goals into territory, segment, and rep-level plans.
- Develop the business cases, analytics, and recommendations behind changes to coverage, capacity, incentives, and go-to-market design.
- Establish performance frameworks and dashboards to monitor whether segmentation and territory decisions are improving productivity, growth, and customer outcomes.
- Drive annual and in-year planning processes, including target setting, performance reviews, and executive-level business updates.

Frame your PMP credentials for real estate tech
Zillow operates at the intersection of real estate and technology, so position your program management background around product launches, construction data platforms, or cross-functional initiatives in those verticals. Generic project management experience reads as less relevant than industry-aligned examples.
Search open roles by team function
Zillow's Project Program Manager openings are distributed across product, engineering, and real estate operations. Filter Zillow's careers page by department, not just title, to surface roles where visa sponsorship is most consistently offered for this function.
Clarify sponsorship scope before your final interview round
Ask Zillow's recruiter specifically whether the role supports H-1B transfer or new H-1B filing, not just OPT extension. Some teams sponsor cap-exempt transfers while others require waiting for the annual lottery in April, which affects your start date planning significantly.
Use Migrate Mate to target Zillow's sponsored openings directly
Filter by employer and role on Migrate Mate to see which Project Program Manager positions at Zillow have active visa sponsorship attached, so you're applying only to roles where your visa type is already supported rather than discovering mismatches after an offer.
Prepare your DOL Labor Condition Application documentation early
For H-1B petitions, Zillow's immigration counsel will need prevailing wage documentation and a defined worksite location. If your role involves hybrid or multi-site work across Zillow's offices, clarify the primary worksite upfront since the LCA must accurately reflect where you'll be performing work.

Find Project Program Manager at Zillow JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Zillow sponsor H-1B visas for Project Program Managers?
Yes, Zillow sponsors H-1B visas for Project Program Manager roles. The company works with immigration counsel to file both new cap-subject H-1B petitions and cap-exempt transfers for candidates already holding H-1B status with another employer. If you're in the H-1B lottery pool, Zillow's Q1 hiring cycle aligns reasonably well with the April registration window, but confirm the specific role's sponsorship scope with the recruiter before accepting an offer.
Which visa types does Zillow typically support for Project Program Manager roles?
Zillow has sponsored a range of visa categories for this role type, including H-1B, F-1 OPT and STEM OPT extension, TN for Canadian and Mexican nationals, J-1, and employment-based Green Card pathways such as EB-2 and EB-3 through the PERM labor certification process. The visa type offered generally depends on your nationality, education level, and where you are in your immigration journey at the time of hiring.
How do I apply for Project Program Manager jobs at Zillow?
Applications go through Zillow's official careers portal at zillow.com/careers. Search by job title or department and filter for roles in product, real estate operations, or technology program management. Before applying, confirm visa sponsorship is available for the specific posting. Migrate Mate aggregates Zillow's sponsored Project Program Manager openings so you can browse and apply directly to roles where your visa type is already supported, without filtering manually.
What qualifications does Zillow look for in Project Program Manager candidates?
Zillow generally expects candidates to have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, engineering, or computer science, along with demonstrated experience managing cross-functional programs in a technology or real estate environment. Familiarity with agile methodologies, stakeholder coordination across product and engineering teams, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously are consistently reflected in their job descriptions. A PMP certification is not always required but strengthens your profile.
How do I time my application to Zillow if I'm on OPT or waiting for an H-1B cap filing?
If you're on F-1 OPT, target Zillow's Q1 hiring window so a start date and any cap-subject H-1B filing align with the April USCIS registration period. STEM OPT extensions give you up to 24 additional months of work authorization, which provides a buffer if you don't get selected in one lottery cycle. For TN visa holders, there's no cap or lottery, so timing is more flexible. Always confirm with Zillow's HR team which filing type applies to your situation before the offer stage.
