About the team
Zillow's Agent Sales organization empowers real estate professionals with the solutions and technology they need to succeed in today's dynamic market. As the bridge between Zillow's innovative platform and the agent community, we're dedicated to creating tools and partnerships that drive meaningful results.
The Revenue Strategy & Operations team partners closely with Sales, Customer Success, and cross-functional leadership to shape go-to-market strategy, improve sales performance, and drive critical planning decisions across the business. We work on high-impact problems such as segmentation, territory design, coverage, forecasting, and business performance, combining strategic thinking with operational execution. This is a team for people who enjoy using data and judgment to solve complex commercial problems and turn strategy into action.
About the role
We are seeking a Senior Strategic Planning Manager to drive Sales Strategy and GTM Operations for Zillow’s Agent Sales organization. This role will focus on high-impact commercial strategy work, including sales segmentation, territory planning, coverage design, performance management, and go-to-market execution. The right candidate has recent experience in Sales or GTM Strategy and Operations and has directly supported GTM leadership through data-driven planning and decision-making. They should be equally comfortable shaping strategic recommendations for senior leaders and translating those decisions into operational plans, targets, and field execution.
The ideal candidate brings strong structured problem-solving, sound business judgment, and a track record of leading complex cross-functional work. They are comfortable building structure from ambiguity, partnering closely with senior stakeholders, and driving projects from analysis through execution.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop a deep understanding of one or more of Zillow’s businesses, key performance drivers, and cross-functional improvement opportunities. Become a subject matter expert.
- Lead sales segmentation analyses to define customer/account tiers, coverage models, and sales motions.
- Own or support territory planning, including territory design, book balancing, account assignment logic, and recommendations to improve coverage and productivity.
- Partner with Sales, Finance, GTM, and Analytics to translate topline goals into territory, segment, and rep-level plans.
- Develop the business cases, analytics, and recommendations behind changes to coverage, capacity, incentives, and go-to-market design.
- Establish performance frameworks and dashboards to monitor whether segmentation and territory decisions are improving productivity, growth, and customer outcomes.
- Drive annual and in-year planning processes, including target setting, performance reviews, and executive-level business updates.
This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.
In California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $127,100.00 - $203,000.00 annually. This base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations.

Frame your PM credentials around proptech
Zillow's Project Manager roles sit at the intersection of real estate operations and software delivery. Tailor your resume to show cross-functional project ownership in technology-driven or data-heavy environments, not just construction or traditional real estate workflows.
Target roles in Zillow's product and platform org
Zillow's most active PM hiring concentrates in product development and platform infrastructure, where visa sponsorship is more established. Roles tied to listing data, transaction tools, or rental management often align with the specialty occupation standard H-1B requires.
Use Migrate Mate to find open Project Manager roles at Zillow
Sponsorship-eligible PM openings at large employers like Zillow aren't always easy to filter on general job boards. Use Migrate Mate to browse and track Project Manager positions at Zillow that are open to visa sponsorship candidates.
Align your LCA wage tier with Zillow's location
DOL prevailing wage levels for Project Managers vary significantly by metro area. Zillow's Seattle and San Francisco offices carry higher wage tiers under the Labor Condition Application, so confirm the offered salary meets the DOL prevailing wage before the filing process begins.

Find Project Manager at Zillow JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Zillow sponsor H-1B visas for Project Managers?
Yes, Zillow sponsors H-1B visas for Project Manager roles, particularly those tied to product management, platform development, and real estate technology operations. To qualify under the H-1B specialty occupation standard, the role must require a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field. Zillow's PM positions in technical and data-driven teams typically meet this threshold.
How do I apply for Project Manager jobs at Zillow?
Apply directly through Zillow's careers page, where you can filter by role and location. In your application materials, make your visa status clear and emphasize cross-functional project experience relevant to real estate or technology platforms. You can also browse sponsorship-eligible Project Manager openings at Zillow through Migrate Mate, which surfaces positions open to visa candidates.
Which visa types does Zillow commonly sponsor for Project Manager roles?
Zillow sponsors several visa categories for Project Managers, including the H-1B, TN for Canadian and Mexican nationals, and F-1 OPT and CPT for students in qualifying programs. Longer-term pathways like EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship are also available for eligible employees, typically after an initial period in the role.
What qualifications does Zillow expect for Project Manager candidates who need sponsorship?
Zillow generally looks for a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, business, engineering, or a related discipline. For sponsored roles, the degree requirement is particularly important because it anchors the H-1B specialty occupation classification. Experience managing product or technology projects, working with cross-functional teams, and operating in agile environments strengthens your profile considerably.
How do I plan my visa timeline when targeting a Project Manager role at Zillow?
If you're pursuing an H-1B, USCIS runs the lottery once a year with registration opening in March. That means your offer and immigration filing prep need to align months in advance. For F-1 OPT holders, confirm your work authorization end date against the cap-gap rules. TN visa holders can move faster since TN status doesn't require a lottery and can be processed at the border or through a consulate.
