Align your credentials to Zillow's product model
Zillow's Business Manager roles are tied to its marketplace and data products, not traditional brokerage operations. Frame your experience around cross-functional execution, revenue growth, or product partnerships in a tech-driven real estate context before you apply.
Target roles tied to existing LCA filings
Search DOL's FLAG system for Zillow's certified Labor Condition Applications under Business Manager or related titles. Roles already supported by an active LCA signal that your target team has cleared the groundwork for H-1B sponsorship recently.
Clarify sponsorship scope during the offer stage
Zillow sponsors multiple visa types for this function. During negotiations, confirm whether your offer covers H-1B cap-subject filing, cap-exempt options, or PERM initiation, since each has a different timeline and your start date planning depends on it.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open Business Manager roles
Zillow posts Business Manager openings across different product verticals and regional teams. Use Migrate Mate to surface and filter the active listings that explicitly support visa sponsorship, so you're not applying blind to roles that may exclude international candidates.
Prepare for TN eligibility if you hold Canadian or Mexican citizenship
TN status covers management consultants, economists, and certain business analyst functions. If your Business Manager role maps to a qualifying USMCA occupational category, your employer can process your authorization without waiting for an H-1B lottery cycle.

Find Business Manager at Zillow JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Zillow sponsor H-1B visas for Business Managers?
Yes, Zillow sponsors H-1B visas for Business Manager roles. The company has an established process for supporting international hires in business and operations functions, which includes filing the required Labor Condition Application with the DOL and submitting the H-1B petition through USCIS. Confirming sponsorship scope early in the offer process is the best way to align on timeline expectations.
Which visa types does Zillow commonly use for Business Manager roles?
Zillow sponsors several visa categories for this function, including H-1B, TN, and J-1 for nonimmigrant pathways, and EB-2 or EB-3 for candidates pursuing permanent residence. F-1 OPT and CPT holders are also considered, giving students and recent graduates a route in before transitioning to employer-sponsored status. The right category depends on your citizenship, education, and career stage.
What qualifications does Zillow typically expect for Business Manager positions?
Zillow's Business Manager roles generally require a bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, or a related field, with demonstrated experience in cross-functional project ownership, data-informed decision-making, or go-to-market execution. Familiarity with real estate technology platforms, marketplace business models, or SaaS partnerships is a practical differentiator. Roles tied to specific verticals may also require industry-specific domain knowledge.
How do I apply for Business Manager jobs at Zillow?
You can search and apply for Business Manager positions at Zillow directly through their careers page, but filtering specifically for roles that support visa sponsorship requires extra legwork. Migrate Mate aggregates Zillow's open Business Manager listings and surfaces which ones are open to international candidates, saving you the step of chasing down sponsorship eligibility role by role before you apply.
How do I plan my timeline if I need H-1B sponsorship at Zillow?
The H-1B cap lottery opens in March for an October 1 start date, so a job offer needs to be secured well before the registration window closes. If you're on OPT with a STEM extension, you may have up to three years of work authorization to bridge the gap across multiple lottery cycles. Confirming your specific situation with Zillow's HR team early lets both sides plan around USCIS deadlines without surprises.
