Target roles in mobile security engineering
Zimperium's core product is mobile threat defense, so engineering roles tied to Android, iOS, or endpoint security are where sponsorship is most likely. Align your resume to mobile security experience before applying.
Understand which visa types Zimperium supports
Zimperium sponsors H-1B, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and Green Cards including EB-2 and EB-3. Knowing this upfront lets you have an informed conversation with their recruiting team about your specific situation.
Green Card sponsorship is part of the picture
Zimperium has a track record of sponsoring permanent residency, not just temporary work visas. If long-term U.S. immigration is your goal, ask directly about their Green Card policy during early conversations with recruiters.
Cybersecurity clearances and background checks take time
Security Services companies like Zimperium often have longer onboarding timelines due to background screening. Factor this into your OPT or visa expiration planning so you aren't caught off guard by a delayed start date.
Use Migrate Mate to verify Zimperium's sponsorship history
Before investing time in an application, confirm Zimperium's sponsorship activity is current. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and see which visa types a company has actually filed for.
Highlight enterprise security experience in your application
Zimperium serves enterprise clients, so framing your experience around large-scale security deployments, threat detection, or B2B environments will resonate more than general IT experience. Tailor your cover letter accordingly.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Zimperium sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Zimperium sponsors H-1B visas. They have an active sponsorship track record that also includes Green Cards at both the EB-2 and EB-3 levels, as well as TN visas and F-1 OPT and CPT. If you're on OPT or currently on an H-1B visa with another employer, Zimperium is worth targeting given their consistent history of supporting international hires across multiple visa categories.
What types of visas does Zimperium sponsor?
Zimperium sponsors H-1B, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, EB-2, and EB-3 visas. This range makes them accessible to a broad pool of international candidates, from students finishing OPT to experienced professionals seeking permanent residency. The Green Card sponsorship is particularly notable for candidates looking to build a long-term career in the U.S. rather than cycling through visa renewals.
Which departments or roles at Zimperium are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at Zimperium is most common in technical roles given the company's focus on mobile threat defense. Software engineers, security researchers, data scientists, and product engineers working on mobile security platforms are the most likely candidates. Non-technical roles in sales, marketing, or operations are less frequently sponsored, though it's worth asking during recruiting conversations if your situation is borderline.
How do I find open visa-sponsored jobs at Zimperium?
Migrate Mate is the most efficient way to find Zimperium's sponsored roles. Unlike general job boards that don't filter by actual sponsorship history, Migrate Mate shows you verified sponsors and their filing patterns, so you can focus your time on companies like Zimperium that have a real track record. Search for Zimperium directly on the platform to see current openings and sponsorship details.
How do I time my application to Zimperium around visa deadlines?
If you're on F-1 OPT, start applying at least three to four months before your OPT expires to allow time for interviews, an offer, and any internal legal review Zimperium requires before filing your visa petition. For H-1B transfers, the process can move faster since you're already in status. Security companies often have thorough onboarding checks, so build in extra buffer beyond what you'd expect from a typical tech employer.
